Hope your week is getting off to a good start. Mine got off pretty good, I got to play all day Sunday so I finished up some old projects started many months ago - made a gift bag and card for baby shower, finished a gift bag for Christmas (for next year), and made a card using a new technique I just saw from StampTV called Retiform . Some of you might have tried it before but when I saw this I had to try it. It gives just an awesome look to your card. So click here and it will take you to the video.
So here is my card, hope you like it. :D
Supplies:
***You will need post-it Notes for this technique ****
Paper: Recollections black, grey and yellowInk: Momento Tuxedo Black; SU White craft ink
Stamps: TE - Bless Your Nest; SNS - Gone Fishin; SU - Elegant Greetings
Accessories: Silver button from a button bag from Hobby Lobby; Spellbinders Scallop Ovals; Black glitter ribbon from Michaels; Black gems from stash; embossing folder Sizzix Flower Vine.
Challenges Entered:
MFPSpeedy - Inspiration Challenge 44 - Baby its Cold Outside. This Challenge has an inspiration photo that I used for my card colors. (See picture below - you will notice it cause it so pretty)
Scribble and Scraps - Challenge #9 Always Anything Goes
3GirlsJamChallenge- January 2014 - Anything Goes w/Ribbon
MakeMyMonday a Weekly Challenge - Embossing Challenge
CraftAScene - Challenge Make Your Own Theme (For this challenge I chose Bless Your Nest stamp because the card is my MIL Birthday and she loves the birds that live around her home. She talks about how she bird watches all time and loves to hear them in mornings while she sits on her porch having coffee. It reminded of her and so this was also my inspiration for creating this card with this scenic stamp set by Talyored Expressions)
Through the Craft Room Door - Challenge Jan.7th - Jan. 13th - Anything Goes
