2026 June Scrapbook Kit 2026 June Mixed Media Kit
First we are going to paint the chipboard frame with black paint or gesso. I used black gesso. Set aside to dry.
Next we are going to cover the canvas with one of the design papers from the 2026 June Scrapbook Kit. I chose this beautiful lavender one with dresses on it. Place adhesive down on the top portion of the canvas first, adhere the paper, and burnish down. Then do the bottom half of the canvas and burnish down.
Next tape down you stencil where you would like the flowers.
Next I took both Solar Pastes from the 2026 June Mixed Media Kit and added some re-inker ink to each one, the royal flush and the deep end. (View Video Tutorial for more details)
Next use either a sponge or dauber to apply the solar paste to each flower.
For the leaves I used a green ink pad and for the swirls I used vintage photo distress ink.
Here is the finished stencil.
After the chipboard frame dries I added the Solar Paste Royal Flush to the the frame. You can apply with dauber, finger or paint brush. I used a dauber and fingers. Use a toothpick to get the paste out of the opened areas for a clean look to the frame.
Next adhere the frame over your stenciled flowers and start decorating your canvas. I also applied Solar Paste Royal Flush to the dress, bow on the top of the frame and a few other areas around the canvas.
Here's a close up on the dress I added Solar Paste Royal Flush to the dress and
then added gold stickels.

Close up of the flowers with gold stickels applied in the middle and I added gold prills (from my stash) throughout the canvas.
Whether you are a seasoned mixed media artist or just getting started with paper crafting, I hope this project inspires you to look at your scrap papers and embellishments in a whole new way. For more details please watch the full step-by-step video tutorial. Thank you so much for stopping by and crafting with me today.
Until next time, keep curating those beautiful memories. ~Deb

In today’s tutorial, we are diving into the world of shabby chic using the 2026 February Mixed Media kit along with the 2026 February Card Kit to create these dimensional blue floral tags. These are perfect for junk journals, gift wrapping, or as a standalone piece of art. Down below I have the step by step tutorial and the video process tutorial that includes more details and techniques I share with you.
2026 February Mixed Media Kit 2026 February Card Kit
TAG #1
For each tag choose a pattern paper from the February Card Kit and adhere it down on the tag. Burnish down and cut around the chipboard.
For the first tag I distressed the edges.
Next I used Stormy Sky Distress Ink to ink around the edges.
For all the tags take your xacto knife and cut out the center of the circle.
Next use one of the paper doilies and adhere on.
Save the other portion as we will use this on another tag.
Below the tag is all finished.
I tied the the lace from Card Kit around the tag and then adhered some of the pretty blue flowers around the tag. Next I used a sentiment from January's Card Kit on the tag. The butterfly I used Stormy Sky Distressed Ink brushed on the butterfly to add some color to the center. The ribbons and lace are all from my stash.
Tag #2
After you adhere your pattern paper, I took one of the rice papers from the February Mixed Media Kit and adhered it down. Then spray small amount of water around the edges to tear off the excess. The video tutorial shows more detail.
After tearing of the excess rice paper, I adhered the flowers and the die cuts. I also used the gold border from the February Scrapbook Kit. I then adhere the die cuts around the tag.
TAG #3
For the last tag again you will follow the same steps we did one Tag #1 & 2.
With remaining piece of doily I inked it with Black Soot Distress Ink and used Stormy Sky Distress Ink in the middle section of the doily. Then I adhered it onto the Tag. I also Inked around the edges of the tag using Black Soot.
Next I took the remaining die cuts and adhered them to the tag. I inked the middle section of the butterfly with Black Soot. I adhered Black and White flowers to the tag and metal hearts from the Mixed Media Kit.
Here is the finished Tag. I used silver liquid pearl around black die cuts and a white gel pen on the leaves. There is also a bit of Crystal Stickles placed around the flowers.
I hope you found some inspiration from today's project. These tags are definitely a one of a kind. The different layers and textures definitely add to the depth and interest of each with the satin ribbons, 3D paper flowers, die cuts and metal hearts. I invite you to check out the 2026 February Kits over at Tres Jolie Kit Club. These kits are amazing and will get your creativity flowing.

Today I'm sharing the June 2025 Mixed Media Kit and what I created using this kit along with the June 2025 Card Kit. I hope you enjoy the projects below and get some inspiration. I have links down below for you and a step by step tutorial, along with the video tutorial as well which contains more details.
June 2025 Mixed Media Kit June 2025 Card, Tag and More Kit
To get started Cover the circle canvas with the vintage rose paper. Then cut off the excess.
Next I used a chipboard frame from Tres Jolie shop and adhered it over the little cherub on the other vintage decoupage paper.
Next cut around the frame and cut the excess off from the backside of the frame.
Next I added paint around the edges of the canvas and the top. I also dabbed some paint on top of the frame and dabbed a bit of Nuvo Sparkle Spray on the frame sporadically. I added a lace to go under the frame and across the right side of the canvas. I cut some roses from the bouquet that is in the kit and adhered them down next to the chipboard frame.
Next I took the Swirl butterfly chipboard and cut them in apart. I painted the butterflies pink and sprinkled some crystal glitter on top and for the swirl I used the root beer reactive ink painted on. For the cloud word "love" I painted that with the pink paint from the Mixed Media Kit.
I also added glossy accents to the top of the little cherub image and the cloud word "love". I then added some words, little fairy girl and the deer from the card kit placed the on top of the canvas.
Shabby Chic Tag
Next I tore part of the scrap from the rose paper we used from the canvas and I adhered it to the chipboard tag.
Next I used the paint and stencil from the kit and dabbed the paint on top of the tag.
After the paint on the chipboard dried, I placed a drop of the reactive ink in a small cut and added water and painted the mixture on top of the chipboard.
Next I painted these diamond chipboard pieces with the stamperia paint from the Mixed Media Kit. I added some Nuvo sparkle spray on top of the tag and I dabbed a little bit on top of the diamond chipboard piece. I also sprayed the remaining swirl butterfly chipboard with the Nuvo sparkle spray and adhered them to the tag and then placed flowers down.
I painted the other circle word "laugh" and placed down in between the flowers.
Here are some close ups of the canvas and tag.
I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial and are inspired to use the June 2025 Mixed Media Kit along with the June 2025 Card, Tags and More Kit to create something wonderful. Thanks for joining me today.

Have you seen the new Mixed Media Kit for this month (January 2025) it contains all the basics you need to create some really fun and amazing cards, tags, canvas's and other projects you might have in mind. I have a photo down below of everything you receive inside the kit. For today's projects I also used the January 2025 Scrapbook Kit as well. Just click on the name above the photo and you'll be directed straight to the Kit. Also for full details on how to create the Mixed Media Cards down below view the video tutorial.
To start we are going to apply Black Gesso to 3 sizes of cardstock.
For the first one, below, after the black gesso dried I embossed the cardstock with a flower embossing folder. Be sure the gesso is dried before using your embossing folder.
Next I used some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from my stash and spread this out sporadically on top of the embossed image. You can use waxes or gelatos, or you can try water colors.
Next I took a flower chipboard ( Nature - Flower Set 1)piece from the shop, I painted the stem green using flat magical by Lindsey's Gang, this was in a MM Kit from last year.
I colored the chipboard flower adhered it on with some 3D Gloss Gel. I also used a butterfly and the flower embellishment from the Scrapbook kit. I added in art stones around my images.
The frame is from my stash and I placed one of the images (Lilac) inside the frame.
Once I was done I added one of the phrases from the Finnabair Sentiment Booklet you get in the Mixed Media Kit. I love how this card came out.
Card #2
For our next card I painted the white cardstock with Black Gesso, while it was wet I used the silicone end to create lines over it and let it dry. Once dried I used a stencil to create the circles and then used a stamp to add in the small dots around the cardstock.
Next I cut the piece in half once it was dried. I took one of the corners from the pattern paper and tore it around the flowers. I also used one of the cut-apart cards from the Scrapbook Kit.
I backed up the black gesso piece with a pattern paper from the Scrapbook kit and then adhered the card piece on top. I used a phrase again from the Sentiment Booklet and added a pretty purple ribbon.
Card #3
For the final card. I chose some stamps from my stash. For the white cardstock I used Black Gesso, but didn't cover the entire white cardstock. I left some white spaces showing.
I then took my white gesso and stamped images onto the black gesso areas.
Next I took some pink pigment ink and painted over the white areas very lightly. (the heats and the Love sentiment)
Once I was done I also used a fast drying pigment ink around the card edges. I added in the art stones using the 3D Gloss Gel and then went over them with the pink paint. Added in a key under the flowers I used white gesso and added in the pretty silver broach with flowers bunched in the middle.
I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial and some inspiration from these beautiful Mixed Media Cards I created using this months January 2024 Mixed Media Kit. I have to say these cards were so fun to create and here is a fantastic way to use your black gesso on your cards. I can't wait to explore more fun ways to used this Mixed Media Kit and share with you all. Thank you all for joining me today. For more details you can view the video tutorial.
