Vintage Orchard Large Fall Tag Album/Journal

Hi Crafty Peeps,

I can't believe it's almost the end of October, boy time sure goes by fast. With Fall getting in full swing I created a Large Tag Mini Album that you can create using the October Scrapbook Kit. This Fall album is chalk full of all the laser cut embellishments, all the pattern paper I only have a few scraps left. With this Tag Album you can use it as a journal as well, by adding pages and other items to keep your fun Fall memories for this year. I have the video tutorial for you below which gives you more details and I have a step by step for you below as well the links for you to head to the Tres Jolie Shop to grab this kit that features 49 and Market Vintage Orchard Collection.

October Scrapbook Kit

To begin out Album cut two pieces of chipboard and pattern papers at 6x7 3/8. Cut 5 more pattern papers at 5 7/8 x 7 1/4 inches these will be your pages. .

I distressed the edges of all the pages and inked with vintage photo ink. Once you cut the angles to form your tag punch with your planner disc punch or a hole punch to use metal rings.
Adhere pattern paper papers to the front and back of your chipboard pieces.

Next you can place in your planner disc's.

Next we will be creating a waterfall cut out 6 pieces of pattern paper at 4x5, and use your scraps to cut 1 inch pieces, score at 1/2 inch. These will be the hinges of our waterfall.

Adhere the one side of the hinge to the back of your waterfall piece with the fold at the top edge of your mat.

Next adhere the the mat down by placing adhesive to the flap

Place the flap down on your page.

Next adhere the second mat right underneath the flap you just glued down. And do this for the others as well. You will 3 mats on the left page and 3 mats on the right side page.

For the closure you will need 8 magnets all together, 4 on each side.
Down below on the left side you see 2 magnets on the bottom.

Next place two magnets over those magnets on top.

Next use one of the cut-a-part cards and adhere those on top by pressing the card down on your magnets to they adhere to the correct spot. This will be your closure for both sides of your waterfall.

This is finished waterfall.

Here are some photos of the decorated pages inside the book. For more details you can check out the video tutorial that shares how I used all the laser cut embellishments from the Scrapbook Kit.

Blush Indulgence Photo Booklet

Good Morning everyone, Today I am sharing a really quick and easy project using the Scrapbook Club Kit along with the beautiful Dresden Trim from the Card Making Kit. This project can hold photos, a notepad a few cards or other items. It would make a great little brag booklet or gift for family members to cherish memories. I hope you like today's project.

Let's get started on this quick & easy Photo Booklet. First you will need a 12x12 pattern paper. Cut at 11 1/2 x 6 inches, then score with the 11 1/2 inches across the top of the scoreboard at 5 & 6 1/2. This is your base booklet.

Next we create a pocket for the right side of the booklet. Cut a piece of cardstock at 10 x 7 1/8 inches. Place in the scoreboard with the 7 1/8 inch along the top score at 1 1/8 inches on the left & right side; turn to the 10 inch laying across the scoreboard, score at 6 and 7 1/8 inches.

Next locate the two little squares on the side and cut on either side of the score lines so you will now have tabs to create a pocket. The pocket should look like the photo below.

The small square tabs get adhered to the lower tabs as seen in the photo below.

After adhering the short tabs to the bottom tabs, now adhere the bottom and long tabs together.

Pocket is finished & papered.

Now to the lid. Use the scrap from creating the pocket and cut to 4 5/8 x 8 1/8 inches, Score at 1 1/2 all around the your card stock. Next cut out little notches at the sides of the score lines to create tabs as shown below. Adhere the tabs to the sides of the long tabs to create a box.

Next add a ribbon for closure and cover the inside of the booklet using the other half of the 12x12 piece we cut for the Booklet Base.

Place double back tape to the back of your pocket and adhere your pocket down to the inside right side of the Booklet.

Next we create a flap, I used a scrap piece of pattern paper cut to 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches, score at 1/2 inch and 3/4 inches. Please glue or adhesive to the half inch tab to adhere the flap down to the right hand side of the booklet.

For the waterfall we cut 5 pieces of card stock at 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches; score one side 1/2 inch on all 5 pieces. You can adhere your pattern paper to the front & back of each piece.

Add the first waterfall piece on top of the flap tab that is adhered down.

Next take the next waterfall piece and place up against the half inch tab of previous piece we just adhered down and you will do this for each one.

The last piece is place little bit over on the half inch tab to be sure it is not over the bottom of your booklet.

Now you can decorate your box and create your photos mats.

Simple Vintage Purse with Mini Photo Booklets

Hi everyone, Today I'm sharing a cute Purse I created to hold some 4x4 photo-booklets. I really like how this turned out. This little project can be created to hold special memories for those special occasions birthdays, weddings, anniversary's retirement party and so on.

To create this Vintage Purse and the mini photo booklets I used the July 2023 Scrapbooking kit filled with new papers from Simple Stories with Simple Vintage Essentials Captured Bits & Ephemera pieces, including the Typeset Rub-ons. The Scrapbooking kit also comes with Tres Jolie clock & film strip chipboard plus beautiful flowers from Little Birdie. I have all the links below for the items I used.

Here is a video tutorial for you to view that contains all the details on I created this Vintage Purse with Mini Photo Booklets. https://youtu.be/JtkPOg-zPIQ

Here are a few photos that share I created this beautiful Simple Vintage Purse. To start off I did use a metal die purse and cut out all my pieces including the pattern paper pieces and adhered everything together.  If you do not have this die you can create a box or use a cutting machine to create a purse.

Here are all the pieces that were cut out from the die.

Next I adhered everything together and here is the finished purse

Now we just need to add our handles and decorate the front. I did use a small broach I had in stash that is adhered to the front flap. I used the pretty flowers that came in the scrapbook kit on the front of the purse. I added one of the sentiments from the captured bits package - Lovely, along with some of the hearts popped up with foam tape.

Next we're gonna create our photo booklets.

You will create 6 of these mini photo booklets using which ever cardstock you'd like. I am using black. You are going to cut your cardstock at 4x8 3/4 inches. Next lay your cardstock lengthwise in your scoreboard with the 8 3/4 inches across the top and score at 4 1/4 and 4 1/2 inches. I have a photo here showing the length of the cardstock on the left and in my hand I have the little booklet once its been scored.

Next I cut 24 pieces of the pattern paper measuring at 3 7/8 x 4 1/8 inches. In the video I share some tips and tricks on decorating these little booklets in case you would like a bit more details.

Now I am going to share step by step instructions on how I decorated a few of these photo booklets.

From the paper collection there is a ruler pattern paper I used this to create a pocket. I really like creating pockets this way with lined pattern paper.

Turn the pattern paper over and place double back tape around the edges of the square.

Next turn the square back over to the front. Leaving about a 1/4 inch space from the left & right edges use your x-acto knife to follow the line down to other end.

Now you have created a simple pocket.

Next place glue or adhesive on the back top of the pocket as shown below.

Now you can adhere the square down to the base photo booklet.

You can add a little tag or other ephemera inside.

Here is a photo of the finished pocket decorated

For the inside. I just added a little tuck spot with one of the captured pieces from the package in the kit, it says "my favorite". I added some foam tape to the back for a raised look.

On the back I added another piece from the Captured Bit pieces that says, "You & Me. I a little bit of glue behind the left and right ends, I didn't add glue to the middle so that way a photo could slide up underneath it. I added a some foam tape to the back of the heart.

So for the next photo booklet I wanted to share I put the inside of this one together using the chipboard film strip and the little square pieces.  First I placed my pattern paper down then I cut off two of squares at the end of the chipboard filmstrip, so you should have three squares.

Next I added some foam strips to each side of the film strip and adhered down.

Once I adhered the filmstrip on I used the little squares from the filmstrip as an embellishment and added words on top (word stickers from my stash).

I finished it off with some of the Captured Bits from the scrapbook kit.

Here is a photo of the inside of the finished Photo Booklet

Here is a photo of the Photo Booklets completed using some of the flowers from the kit including the ephemera pieces and Captured Bits. You can check out the video for more details on how I put all the booklets together or you can put your own twist on your booklets.

I hope you enjoyed this project and have a chance to create one. I think its a great little memory keeper for special those special photos that you can display on your mantel or on shelf someplace. It definitely makes a great gift.

Thanks for joining me and have a great day.
