Slimline Album - Moments That Matter

 Good Morning everyone,

Today I am happy to share with you the Slimline Album I created using the June2025 Card, Tag and More Kit. I hope you enjoy todays step by step tutorial, along with the video tutorial shown below which gives more details. I also have the link for you below.

June 2025 Card, Tag and More Kit

To begin take one of the cards from the kit and score at a 1/2 inch and then adhere the 1/2 inch to the middle spine of the slimline album. ***see video tutorial for more details if needed***

Next Cut 2 cards at 3 5/8 inches, these are going to be flaps for photos.

Adhere one down in the midsection panel on the top left side of the album.

Adhere the second flap down on the 3rd inside panel on the bottom, next to the card flap we just adhered down on the spine. ***see video tutorial for more details if needed***

Take another card and cut 1/2 inch off the open end of the card, the card should measure 3 3/4 inches. 

With the open end facing to the left, adhere this down in middle panel, as shown below.

Next for our closure cut two pieces of cardstock at 2 x 8 1/2 inches. adhere two of the ends together. 

You should have a long a strip.

Next wrap around the slimline album to the back. With the top piece laying over the bottom piece measure 1 inch and cut the excess off. Then adhere the end together 3/4 inches inward. 

Next cut some of the pattern paper and adhere around the closure. Place the closure over the album midway, when sliding the closure on it should fit a little loose so you have room to place photos inside. Now you can decorate the front and inside of the album.

Here is the Left inside panels. 

The first panel at the end I created a small pocket using scraps, cutting the pocket 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Only place adhesive to the sides and bottom and adhere down. This will hold tags or or small photos. 

The middle panel and the third panel is where we added our flaps from the cards we cut at 3 5/8 inches.

I also used some of the ephemera from the Card Kit to decorate around the flaps. I just love the little woodland characters and the fairies.  

Here is the right side panels for the end panel I created a small pocket using scraps, cutting the pocket  3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, just like I did for the left side. 

The middle panel is where I adhered the card we cut at 3 3/4 inches. And the third panel I adhered down some of the cut a-parts for small photos or for journaling. ***See video tutorial for more details***

This is the card we scored 1/2 inch and adhered to the middle spine and this can photos and it has a small pocket for holding tags or photos.

Venetian Shutter In Bloom with Mini Booklet for Tres Jolie

 Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing my last project for the month of July using the Scrapbooking kit along with the Mixed Media Kit. I just love how this beautiful House with venetian shutter turned out. It looks like a flower garden is just busting out of the window. I have links down below for you. I hope you enjoy this video tutorial as well as the step by step down below.

To start this project cover the wooden house with one of the pattern papers from the scrapbook kit. I covered the front and back. First I applied my adhesive laid down the pattern paper and burnished down and cut around the the house. This was the easiest way to cover the wooden house. 

Then adhere down the venetian shutter to the front of your wooden house. I added little door knobs from my stash. 

Next I opened the white packet of flowers from the Scrapbook Kit. 

First I applied the texture paste onto the flowers and then used a small paint brush to brush on the pearl ex powder very lightly onto each flower. I used the yellow and pink salmon pearl ex colors found in the Mixed Media Kit. 

Here is what the yellow flower looked like once I was done. You can do all your flowers like this or just a few. 

Next we are creating a small mini booklet to adhere to the back of the house. I have the measurements below. For the 1 - 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 one you can cut two or just use one. 

For the long strips once they are scored at 6 inches fold in half. 

Then with one of the pieces 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch pieces scored at 1/2 inch place adhesive to the 1/2 inch flap and adhere that to the 1/2 inch flap to the fold of one of the long strips that are folded in half.

Next on the back of each long strip that is folded in half place adhesive to the back and adhere the back to the front of each one to create a booklet. (View Video Tutorial for more details)

Once you have the booklet together take the little strip that is 1 3/4 inches and score at 1 1/2 inches adhere the 1 1/2 inch to the back of the last page. Next use two magnets and adhere one to the inside of the closure and the other to the front page of the booklet. Adhere the booklet to back of the house in middle, as shown below. 

Now you can decorate your your booklet. For more details on how I decorated my pages you can view the video tutorial. I do have a few pictures below.

Here is the front of the booklet. 

Here is one of the cut-a-parts I cut out the middle part of the frame and made it into an open frame to place a photo inside. 

Here is a page, I used a little cut-a-part card to create a tuck spot and place some other small cards inside. 

Now for the front I added some flower grass inside the venetian shutter and used hot glue to adhere all the flowers down. 

Here is the finished photo of the front of the house.

Christmas Envelop Photo Booklet

 Good Morning all,

Christmas is getting closer and what a great time to create some memories, right? So today I have a cute way for you to create a little Christmas  Envelope Photo Booklet to place those wonderful memories inside. I used the Card, Tag and More Kit for this month.

Let's get started. Here is a photo of the December Card, Tag and More Kit but we didn't use everything. We will be using a 5x7 inch envelope 

First we start with creating the envelop flap. 

Take the envelop and place on your cardstock, I used white. Place the envelop on top and measure below the envelope flap score line 1 inch. 

Once you have it measured trace around the flap. 

Cut out the flap and now score at 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 inches.

Next on your pattern paper trace your flap we created and cut out and adhere on top of the flap. 

Adhere the envelop flap back onto the envelop, before we adhere the flap we created. 

Next adhere the created flap onto the envelope. Place your adhesive to the 1/2 inch area and adhere that on the back of the envelope. This will be your closure. 

For the photo mats cut 1 cardstock at 7 x 5 inches and score along the 5 inch side 

downward 1/2 inches. 

Cut 4 photo mats at 7 1/2 x 5 and score on along the 7 1/2 inch side downward for all 4 pieces. 

Adhere the photo mat that is 7 x 5 to the bottom of the envelope, placing adhesive to the 1/2 inch flap

Next adhere your flaps that are 7 1/2 x 5 with the 1/2 inch score line. Adhere one to the right and one to the left side placing adhesive to the 1/2 inch flap.  (see photo below)

You should have your mat like this once you attach the right side flap/photo mat. 

Now your envelope should look like this. 

Next we are adding the other flaps to the inside. Place one of the extra flaps to the inside with the 1/2 inch flap towards the lifted flap, as shown below. 

Place your adhesive down and glue together. Now you will have a fold out for your photos. Do this for the other side as well. 

Next place your magnets on, place one on the top inside of the envelope flap and one on the bottom make sure they match up. 

Now you can add your pattern paper to all your photo mats. 

For the inside I punched a half circle on the pattern paper so I could place more photo mats inside the envelope pocket. 

Here is one of the pages I decorated using the beautiful sparkling deer. 

Here are a couple of photo mats I did as an example to place inside the envelope pocket. 

Here a couple of booklets I created using the beautiful 4x4 cut a-parts from the paper collection. 

Cut a 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper at 4 x 8 3/8 inches, Score at 4 1/8 and 4 1/4. So easy to make.

Since I was running low on paper I did use scraps to decorate the inside and it will give a top and bottom border to the photos.
