DIY Shiplap Farmhouse Pumpkin Decor

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

I hope y'all are having a great day. Today I am sharing a fun simple project you can make in an hour using the Clear Scraps Wood Shiplap Shape Pumpkin Large size, along with the 'hello Fall' stencil and Maple Leaf Shaker. I have the step by step down below and the video tutorial on my youtube channel. As always the links are down below for you just click on the link it take you directly to the store/product.

Shaker Maple Leaf                                                 hello FALL Stencil

Lets begin with painting the pumpkin. I combined Distressed Paint antique linen along with some white paint. I used the antique linen with some paste and applied it on smoothing it out as I went around the pumpkin and then cam back in with white paint on top applying it on sporadically.

For the stem part I painted it using Distressed Paint walnut stain.

Next I placed down the 'hello FALL' stencil and used my Distressed Oxide ink vintage photo to ink up the words on the stencil.

Here is what it looks like after stenciling. Looks so good, right? I love it.

Next using the Maple Leaf Shaker you will get 3 frames and the back of the shaker along with an acetate piece.

Adhere the 2 of the frames together and place the acetate on top of the two frames you just adhered together. The other frame you can paint and you can either paint or paper the back of the maple leaf shaker.

I painted my back shaker leaf and the frame that is placed on the top of the shaker. I used Stamperia Glamour Gel Dark Wood paint. Once it all dried I placed my shaker pieces inside and adhered the backing on.

I found this fall bouquet in my stash with some raffia and tied it to the stem and adhered the flower on and the adhered the Maple Leaf Shaker on next to the stenciled 'hello FALL'.

Here is the finished Farmhouse Pumpkin Decor. I tied the little bouquet around the top with Raffia and hot glued the flower. I just love how this turned out with the maple leaf shaker adhered to the hello FALL.

I  hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. This Farmhouse Pumpkin turned out so good, and I really like it cause it was so simple and quick to create. This shiplap pumpkin comes in a variety of sizes, plus you can find many other shiplap design shapes in the Clear Scraps Shop.

Loving Life Autumn Layout

Good Morning my Crafty Peeps,

I hope you all are doing well. Today I have a really fun interactive layout to get you in the mood for Autumn. I am ready for the cooler weather for sure. lol   For this layout I used the beautiful September 2024 Tres Jolie Scrapbook Kit. This Scrapbook Kit is just beautiful and has everything you need to do several Scrapbook Layouts. I have the links throughout the step by step tutorial and I have a video tutorial that will share more details with you. Below I have a photo of the Scrapbook Kit.

September 2024 Tres Jolie Scrapbook Kit

To begin I chose a pattern paper from the paper collection that was a little pink but had beautiful flowers that reminded me of Autumn. I then cut out 1 piece of pattern paper at 6 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches and adhered down; then cut another piece of pattern paper at 6 x 4 inches and adhere on top of the larger mat. This will be a photo mat.

Next cut 3 pieces of pattern paper at 3 3/4 x 7 1/2 inches and score down the middle to fold in half, do this for all three pieces.
These are like little booklets that will be adhered down at the bottom of the layout.

Before adhering down the booklets, adhere magnets to the inside and the backside of the booklets. You can view the video tutorial for more details.

Next adhere down to the bottom, as shown below. Here is a tip - to make sure they are even when you lay them down, adhere one of them down first, then place your ruler on the bottom edge of the one you adhered down and this will be your guide to make sure they are all laid down straight.

Here is how the layout should look. Now you can decorate your layout using the beautiful flowers and other embellishments in the kit.

Here is what I used to decorate my layout. I fussy cut out the beautiful butterflies and the pretty branches from the cut-a-part sheet. Next I added some flowers. I also added some of the tabs to the little flaps, love, life and one with a flower on it. You can definitely add a little fairy in here as well.

Here is the finished layout. I just love how this turned out so pretty.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial, remember I have the video tutorial for your convenience. I really enjoyed creating this Scrapbook Page Layout for you all using the new September Scrapbook Kit, you really get a ton of fun crafty stuff inside.

Easel Card Journal Box

 Hi everyone,

I can't believe it's the end of August, and here comes Fall right around the corner. For my project share today I used the August Scrapbook Kit. I created an Easel card that sits on top of a box with a pull out drawer to hold a small journal, notebook, cards or whatever you would like to place inside. I have a video tutorial for you as well as the step by step down below. I hope you enjoy today's project.

August Scrapbook Kit

To start off you will need 2 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. Cut one down to 8 x 81/2. Next place adhesive on the right side end of the 8 x 8 1/2 lining up the 8 1/2 x 11 piece up to the edge of the adhesive and burnish down.

Next cut 2 pieces of chipboard 2x5 and 2 at 5x5 line them along the cardstock piece leaving a 1/8 inch between each piece (shown below). Next go around the chipboard with a bonefolder, as you would if you were creating a mini album, (see video for more details). Next cut the corners off and bevel the corners as shown below. Fold your flaps over to make sure the edges of the paper are flush against the chipboard pieces.  Next cut out pieces of cardstock to line up and adhere down on top of the chipboard pieces to the inside is covered.

Next adhere down the top, bottom and right side flaps, then crease in between each chipboard piece with a bone folder. Do Not adhere the left flap down yet.

After you cover the inside fold the box in. Take the left flap and adhere down to the outside of the last chipboard piece to create a square.

Next we create the drawer just like the box. You will cut 2 pieces of cardstock 3 1/2 x 11 inches and adhere them down the same way attaching the ends together.

Cut 4 chipboard pieces at 1 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches and adhere them down leaving 1/8 inch spacing between each piece of chipboard. Again use the bonefolder to make creases around the chipboard. Fold the chipboard pieces in to create a score line and fold in the flaps so the paper is flush with the chipboard with folded over. You should have a line between each piece of chipboard as we folded the chipboard pieces in, cut on either side of that line to create a little arrow or beveled cut between each line as shown below, cut the corner as well. So you should have little flaps now. Place adhesive on the flaps, Do not adhere the Bottom Flaps or the Left Side Flap.

Once you have the top flaps adhered down and the left flap is adhered down to the last piece of chipboard you have the bottom flaps that will fold in as shown below.

Cut a piece of 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inch chipboard piece, if it doesn't fit cut it down to fit inside your small box, this is the bottom of the drawer. Adhere this square piece to flaps on the bottom inside of the box.

Now slide your drawer inside the box.

For the easel card cut one piece of cardstock at 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches and another cardstock at 4 1/2 x 9. Fold the 4 1/2 x 9 in half and then fold the top of piece of the 4 1/2 x 9 in half again

This is what you should have once your fold in the top piece of the card. Next adhere the 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 to the bottom half that is folded. This creates your easel card.

Here is a photo of how the easel should be adhered to bottom half of the card. I have already placed my pattern on the backside of the card.

After you decorate your easel card and the box, place adhesive on the back of the easel card and adhere to the top of your box. Inside the easel card you want to be sure to mount a little sentiment of something with foam tape on the bottom so the top of the card can rest on that pop up piece with foam tape. (As shown below) I added a sentiment with some flowers and my card will rest on the flower to be sure it stays standing up.

Here is the finished picture of what the Easel Card and Box look like. I covered a small notepad with the paper collection, using the beautiful crystal embellishments, and fussy cut out some flower images from the paper collection. I also added a small pencil to the pad and placed that inside.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial, remember I have the video tutorial for your convenience. I had a great time using this months August Scrapbook Kit, you really get a ton of fun crafty stuff inside. I am really pleased on how this easel card and journal box turned out.  I hope you felt inspired to create this Easel Card and Journal Box using this month August Scrapbook Kit.

Oceans of Fun Mini Chipboard 8x8 Album

 Good Day everyone,

It's Debbie here today with a cute summer 8x8 chipboard album. With summer coming to a close and school getting ready to start. I decided to end August with a cute Summer type ocean/swimming theme using the Clear Scraps Chipboard 8x8 3 tabbed album. I've been wanting to create this album using this paper along with this Chipboard album and I figured this would be a perfect way to end the summer. I hope you enjoy the step by step tutorial and gain some inspiration for your albums. You can always click on the name of the product and go directly to the store.

                                                            Chipboard 8x8 3 tabbed album

To begin your album place double back tape adhesive to each chipboard piece front and back prior to covering the chipboard mini album pages, unless you are using glue adhesive than do one page at a time.

Here is the one of my chipboard pieces covered and I punched the holes before covering the back of the chipboard page.

Here are few of the chipboard pieces covered with my pattern paper.
You will also need to get some metal rings to place through the holes in the mini album.

Below shows a photo mat I place on the front of the first tabbed page.
The photo mat measures 4 1/2 x 5 inches.

This page is the back of 2nd tabbed page which has a large flap measuring 7 x 7 1/2 with a
scored 1/2 inch on the top.
For the front of the 3rd tabbed page I created 3 small flaps 4 x 3 1/2 inches and scored a 1/2 inch on the 3 inch side. Adhered these down horizontally, you can adhere down vertically as well. You can see more details on my video tutorial.

For the back page I created a pocket out of the pattern paper I was using, and cut along the curves of the waves on the page.

Here we are to the fun Mini Shaker Flip Flops. You'll receive 1-acetate piece, 3-frames, 1-back piece.
Glue 2 of the frames together, take the film off both sides of the acetate piece and adhere to the 2 frames you just adhered together.
The one frame you have left paint or do what ever you would like, and also paper or paint the back piece.

Here is what I created with these super cute Mini Shaker Flip Flops. I painted yellow, added some glitter on top, papered the back and added the cute little pearl flowers on top of the flip flops. I added my little shaker bits. When gluing together be sure to really burnish everything down.

Down below I have photos of all the pages I finished decorating with the paper collection. I wanted to share how you can add flips and flaps to these chipboard pages and even add large pockets.
On the left hand inside page I added two flaps one opens up to left and the other opens up to the right. I did lay down some photo mats behind these. I also cut a little slit following the curve of the blue mermaid flap to create a pocket.
On the right hand side page, page 2, this is the photo mat I shared above and here it is decorated with some cute stickers from the paper collection.

Behind the 2nd page, backside, I created two mini pocket flaps that open up, one to the left side and one to the right side. Each one is a pocket using the small cut-a-part card images. The 3rd page to the right hand side is a large pocket that holds a booklet that hold many more photos for 4x6 photos or larger. I have closer of these two pages down below.

Here is a closer view of the backside of page 2 with the two little flap pockets that open up to each side. I place photo mats behind them, I didn't add magnets to these but you can if you'd like.  You can see in each pocket is a little card inside to add a photo or journal.

Here is a closer view of the front of the 3rd page. You can see the little booklet can slide in and out and you can can large photos or small photos. In this booklet I did add a couple of the cut-a-part cards for journaling.

Here is the back of page 3 and front of page 4.
For the back of page 3 I have a large flap. (measurements above) I placed a pocket on the front with a couple of cut-a-part cards inside. Photos below of the inside of the page when flap is opened.
For the front of page 4 I decorated the little flaps I created and coved the front and back of each on with pattern paper.

Here is what I placed behind the flap. It's a little book adhered to the inside and opens up. I did place a magnet down so the booklet would stay closed. You can see more details of this in video tutorial

Here is the inside when the flap is up I added a large 4x6 mat and decorated.

Now we are on the last pages. Here is behind page 4, which is photo mat and a couple of little mermaids and some little fish with some cute sentiments on the page.
Now for the last page, which is the back of the book is the pocket I created and inside I placed about 5 of the cut-a-part cards inside for photos or journaling or you could have another booklet placed inside the pocket.

For the last photo is front of the album. I just think this turned out so cute. I really love the mini shaker flip flops aren't they just adorable on top of the 8x8 Chipboard Mini Album. For Now I left my little tabs blank until I place some photos inside,

I  hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. I really like how this little summer themed 8x8 Mini Chipboard Album came out, I really think adding the Mini Shaker Flip Flops added a really cute & fun embellishment to the front. With these chipboard albums you can really let your creativity fly and these are so versatile you can use them to create so many things.
