Vintage Lady

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you all are doing?  It's been crazy here in North Texas with all the storms, tornado warnings, tornado touchdowns, flooding and more. So I hope you all are well where ever you are, stay safe.

ON with the new challenge, one of my favorite challenges at One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes with Vintage Challenge. .
I used Lady Jane digital stamp by Stitchy at StitchyBear Digital Outlet Store.
The paper is Graphic 45's Mon Amour, I just love this collection so beautifully vintage with a lot of love you can just feel from the images.

Here is my card, I did a lot of layering, a little fussy cutting of the roses.
I used black cs as my base then did 2 mats behind my image and the framed image.

I colored my image with copics and added a bit of clear Wink of Stella pen to the
feathers & ribbon on the hat, I used white liquid pearls on the necklace and earrings.

A closeup of Lady Jane digi stamp. This is a
lovely stamp to color.

Decorative Peacock

Good Day All,

I hope you all are doing well this weekend. Things are going pretty here in North Texas. We had a beautiful week in the upper 70's, however now we are going to the lower 60's to 70's. I know some of the states are still facing colder temps so stay warm out there. okay

With that being said I hope my card will bring a warm smile to your face along with some inspiration. Today I am sharing my card for One Stitch At A Time new challenge #258, Anything Goes with Embossing.

Here is my card:
For this card I chose the Mehendi Peacock Digital stamp which comes with 4 digital papers.
Isn't it just stunning? I just love how this turned out. I originally was going to
color the image but as I started I kept wanting to do something more.
So I grabbed my spellbinders mixed media foil, ran it through my printer and then embossed with black embossing powder. Once I finished I grabbed 3 of my liquid pearls and started creating little pearls along the image. I also dry embossed the background turquoise paper with my Anna Griffin rosette cluster embossing folder.

Here is a close-up of the peacock decorated with the liquid pearls.
I used Liquid Pearls - silver, yellow and rose gold.

Spring Flowers for Easter

Good Morning All,

Here this morning to bring you some Spring and Easter Inspiration today for the Crafty Sentiments Inspirational Blog.

I used an embossing folder and glitter to achieve my glittery paper look.
First I started with my embossing folder - Rub vera mark on the flat side of the emboss design, then run through your embossing machine, spread a heat 'n stick powder on top of the versa mark, heat the heat 'n stick powder til it is melted on the card, last add your glitter and then heat til melted into the card.

I stamped my image onto white cardstock, used the same embossing folder with my image then I cut out the middle part to fit in the middle of my embossed glitter cardstock (so used the embossing folder twice, one on the colored cardstock and the other on the white cardstock with my image); using pop dots on the back of the image to raise it a little. You can achieve this technique with any type of embossing folders.

The image I used is Rosie Spring Flowers, its just such a lovely image for Spring and Easter.
You can find the image at Crafty Sentiments Designs Shop. She's so sweet.
