Roses in Vintage

Good Day All,

Hope you all are having a start to a great week. I have some great news!!

I am a Guest Designer over at Julia Spiri's Challenge Blog!! YEAHHHH!! I invite you all to come on over and join in the fun on her Challenge Blog - Theme is Vintage.  I just love her images they are so pretty and dainty and just fun to color up.

For this Challenge I chose a lovely little lady from the Hat Collection, I just love this one is my total fav!! Hope you like it too. You can see all her images at https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JuliaSpiri.

Here is my card -  This little image is just lovely. In using this image I knew I wanted to break open my lemoncraft paper I have been hoarding since last year. lol  I just knew I had to use it for this image. As some of you know I am starting to color a little more with my Spectrum Noir Colored pencils and I have to say they did really well with this image. The pencils really add  a soft and dainty look to the image and card. I did fussy cut the butterflies from the paper collection and I used my Spellbinder dies - Romantic Roses. I also used some wild orchid flowers and pink seam binding.

Here is a close up of the little flower girl. I just love that bonnet

isn't it just precious with the dress? When I saw this I knew 

exactly what I wanted to do with this image. I just love how the 

pink and cream goes so well together. Just lovely against the green.

Monochromatic card in Purple

Hi ya'all,

Today is the first day I am sharing my Design Team creation for Really Reasonable Ribbon. Yeah!!

So here is my card for Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge Monochromatic. I used purple hues for my monochromatic card. Is it just me or does anyone else find creating a monochromatic card very challenging?  Seriously took me all day... lol  But I am totally happy with the result.

You see that beautiful polka dot ribbon, isn't that just luscious?!! Seriously, I just love this beautiful Purple Swiss Dots, it's one of the ribbons you get in the Pink & Purple Satin Swiss Dots Assortment.

You can see the pretty little Sweetheart Blossoms Mixed Colors Flowers such pretty purples.

It's Nature's Beauty

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are having a nice day so far. It's been a good weekend here, I don't know if some of you know my daughter is getting married next year. With that being said we have been looking at wedding venues and wedding dresses every weekend for the last three weekends. And today well she found her dress, she says, "this is it"! and then she cancelled all other fitting appointments. lol   Now we just gotta concentrate on where to have the wedding, find the bridesmaids dresses. Concentrating on one thing at a time. Right?

Enough of my story....Today I am sharing with you a card I made for One Stitch At A Time's New Challenge - Anything Goes with Nature. I chose a very beautiful digi image from StitchyBear Digital Outlet Store - Bird Doodle created by CraftyGirl Creations.  I like this little Bird Doodle image it's so pretty. I re-sized it to fit inside a small oval I cut, I printed the image twice, used an embossing folder over one of the images and then printed fussy cut the other to pop-up over the other one.

Here are pictures of my card: (I think I'm gonna give this as a Mother's Day Card) :D

Used the gorgeous Graphic 45 Secret Garden papers with various green's, 

along with my green flowers. 

Used Spellbinders Die - Romantic Rose with small oval die

on top of the first image that was embossed.
