Let's Go Fishing

Good Day All,

I hope you all are having a good start to your week. Today at Crafty Sentiments Designs we are having a New Challenge - For A Man so this is a good time to start those early Father's Day cards or Happy Birthday Cards for the lovely men your your life. :D  

I chose Let's Fish stamp from Crafty Sentiments Store for my man card. It's the first time I think I've combined so many stamps in one card, plus got to use my NEW Cricut Explore. :D  This is such a cute stamp. I absolutely love it, reminds me of my hubby when we would go fishing he would be so excited if he caught one.

Here is my card -

I think it turned out cute. 

I did water coloring on my image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. 

Water was water-colored with Gelato's and used Copics for my

water waves and splash I drew for the fish. 

I like how the his hat and clothing turned out

cause they look worn out. Something guys would wear for fishing.

and used black wire as my string & hook.

Accessories - Cricut Explore  Cartridges - Outdoor Man & Home Organization;Used black wire as my string & hook for fish; Wooden Birds colored with copics. It's Your Day! adhesive ribbon; Cuddle bug metal die - tag for Happy Birthday.

She's So Glamorous!

Hi all,

I hope you all are having a good week. :D 

It's a New Challenge at Crafty Sentiments we want to see things "Starting With The Letter G" on your projects. :D  That's right, so things like glitter, green, gold, gems or anything with the Letter G. 

I did a card with lots and lots of Gems, using a fun image from Crafty Sentiments Designs Shop named "Teenage Fashion". I thought it would be perfect for this challenge and I placed a link to the image for you to go take a look at it in the shop.

Roses On Your Birthday

Hi all,

I am excited to share with you a card I made for my Mom's Birthday today. :D It's a gatefold card with a gift card behind my image.
First, I must tell you the New Challenge at Crafty Sentiments is BINGO!! : D  I have chosen the image "Innocence", she is just a sweet angelic image. Just click on the name and you will be taken to the CS Shop, where you can get this image and view many other fabulous images. :D

Here is my card:

I used Digi, Die Cute and Gems. (But I used other items on the Bingo menu, too) 

I placed a small thin magnet behind my die cut and on 

the right side of the gate for a secure closure

Paper - SU - vanilla cs; DCWV - The French Country Stack; Neenha paper 

Ink - Colored pencils; TH - Worn lipstick around my image.

Stamp -Crafty Sentiment Stamp - Innocence; Stampin' Up - Happy Birthday stamp(from an old set) & Stampin' Up- Fresh Fillers - little flower stamp embossed around my image. 

Accessories - From my stash - pink ribbon, gems, roses; sm. magnets by Basic Grey; 

Spellbinders - Fancy Tags #2 in the front with sentiment and placed around my image as a border. ; Stickles - crystal
