Indigo Bloom Flip Book for Tres Jolie

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing my version of the Square Flip Book found in August 2025 Card Kit. I am super excited to share with you a different version you can create. I hope you enjoy the video tutorial. Check out the links below to get your Card, Tag, and More Kit. I also have a link to the cute chipboard stamps down below for you.

August 2025 Card, Tag and More Kit                                  Chipboard Tickets

To start out place magnets inside the inner flap to the top and bottom.
****View video tutorial for details*****

Next cover the oval portion of the frame and then glue the oval back inside the frame.

After the frame dries adhere only the top portion of the frame to the bottom of the flap. (as seen below)
****View video tutorial for details*****

Next I added ephemera to the cover that comes in the kit. I also used some chipboard tickets (link above) from the Tres Jolie Shop on top of the paper tickets. I really like how this turned out.

When you get your Flip Book in the Card Kit, there is an accordion piece. I decided to cut this in half and adhere hinges on the back of  each piece.
To add a hinge take a 1 inch piece of white cardstock, score at 1/2 inch. Then adhere the folded portion to the fold of the card piece (as shown below) cut off excess. Now do the same to other half of the accordion we cut.

Now you should have a 1/2 inch flap, as shown below. Adhesive to outside of this flap.

Adhere on in the middle portion of the flip book. Now do this with the other card part by adhering the 1/2inch hinge to the fold. ****View video tutorial for details*****

Now you should have a double flaps as shown below. You can add photos on these or use then for journaling. For more details you can view the video tutorial if needed.
Now you can decorate, measure your book pages and cut out your pattern papers. I a few photos below to help with inspiration. You can always watch my video tutorial.

Below is the first opening of the book.

This portion is the middle part of the book with the side flaps opened.

Here is the inside middle part with the two flaps we created hinges for on either side.

Here is a photo of the book opened. The middle page is the pocket I recreated using the  instruction from the booklet in that comes with the Flip Book. The left and right side are photo mats along with the flower ephemera and sentiments.  The bottom page I used a little ephemera flower as a tuck spot.

Here is the cover all decorated using the chipboard frame along with the chipboard tickets.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. I had a great time created this Square Flip Book and sharing another way you can create this book to hold your special photos.

Slimline Album - Moments That Matter

 Good Morning everyone,

Today I am happy to share with you the Slimline Album I created using the June2025 Card, Tag and More Kit. I hope you enjoy todays step by step tutorial, along with the video tutorial shown below which gives more details. I also have the link for you below.

To begin take one of the cards from the kit and score at a 1/2 inch and then adhere the 1/2 inch to the middle spine of the slimline album. ***see video tutorial for more details if needed***

Next Cut 2 cards at 3 5/8 inches, these are going to be flaps for photos.
Adhere one down in the midsection panel on the top left side of the album.
Adhere the second flap down on the 3rd inside panel on the bottom, next to the card flap we just adhered down on the spine. ***see video tutorial for more details if needed***

Take another card and cut 1/2 inch off the open end of the card, the card should measure 3 3/4 inches.

With the open end facing to the left, adhere this down in middle panel, as shown below.
***see video tutorial for more details if needed***

Next for our closure cut two pieces of cardstock at 2 x 8 1/2 inches. adhere two of the ends together.
You should have a long a strip.

Next wrap around the slimline album to the back. With the top piece laying over the bottom piece measure 1 inch and cut the excess off. Then adhere the end together 3/4 inches inward.

Next cut some of the pattern paper and adhere around the closure. Place the closure over the album midway, when sliding the closure on it should fit a little loose so you have room to place photos inside. Now you can decorate the front and inside of the album.

Here is a photo of the front decorated.
***see video tutorial for more details if needed***

Here is the Left inside panels.
The first panel at the end I created a small pocket using scraps, cutting the pocket 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Only place adhesive to the sides and bottom and adhere down. This will hold tags or or small photos.
The middle panel and the third panel is where we added our flaps from the cards we cut at 3 5/8 inches.
I also used some of the ephemera from the Card Kit to decorate around the flaps. I just love the little woodland characters and the fairies.

Here is the right side panels for the end panel I created a small pocket using scraps, cutting the pocket  3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, just like I did for the left side.
The middle panel is where I adhered the card we cut at 3 3/4 inches. And the third panel I adhered down some of the cut a-parts for small photos or for journaling. ***See video tutorial for more details***

This is the card we scored 1/2 inch and adhered to the middle spine and this can photos and it has a small pocket for holding tags or photos.

Here is a close up of the Slimline Album front.

Christmas Angel Curio Clock

 Hi Crafty Peeps,

I hope you are doing well. I am so excited to share with you the November Scrapbook Kit. In this Scrapbook Kit we get a Curio Clock by Tim Holtz Idea-ology. I also used the beautiful chipboard angel and poinsettia flowers. So get out you things and let's craft together. As always I have a video tutorial for you here that shares more details and a step by step tutorial below. Links are shared throughout the post. I hope you get some inspiration from today's project.

November Scrapbook Kit

To get started I used one of the chipboard angels outlining it with glue and then sprinkled white fine glitter on top. Set aside to dry.

Next I took one of the white poinsettias from the kit and painted it with the Flat Magical Wild Rose Rouge that is from a past Mixed Media Kit.

Next trace the back lid of the Curio Clock, cut out the circle and place inside the the lid.

Next I used glue dots to adhere down the little metal ring that sets in the curio clock and to adhere down my twinkle lights.

I added some poly-fil to bottom of the clock but I later cut a piece of chipboard 1 x 3 3/4 inches to place across inside the clock. This helps hold your items up better.

I added some snow inside.

I added 4 pieces of chipboard to the back of the Christmas Tree ephemera, so it would add a little dimension to the inside.

Next I added in the angel and decorated the rest of the out side of the Curio Clock.

Here are some close up photos for you down below.

I hope you found this Christmas Angel tutorial inspirational and you get to create one as well. I really enjoyed creating this for Christmas. I thought these would make great Christmas gifts as well.

Snowglobe & Shaker Santa Christmas Cards

Good Morning Crafty Peeps,

I hope you are having a great day. Today I have a couple of fantastic Christmas cards to share with you using the new November Scrapbook Kit. Below I have a step by step tutorial along with a video tutorial and links to take you directly to the Scrapbook Kit. This Scrapbook Kit is something you are not gonna want to miss. I hope you enjoy today's project.

November Scrapbook Kit

Card 1

To start off I painted the frame green and covered the little Holly wreath bells with red glitter.
Set aside to dry.

Create a regular card folded over and cover the top of the card with pattern paper. Next I cut another piece of cardstock, covered and cut a large oval in the middle.

Next cut a piece of acetate that fits and adhere down inside the card.

Next add foam tape around the edges and the oval.

Next add in your shaker bits and place the top pieces with foam tape on top of the card. Then adhere here the Holly Wreath around the shaker window.

Now you can decorate. I decorated around the Holly Wreath the poinsettia ephemera, and added stickles in the middle of each poinsettia. I love how this card turned out it's so festive and beautiful with that Holly Wreath.

Card 2

To start the second card I gold embossed the chipboard Angel.

Cut a piece of cardstock at 5x11 inches.

Score the 5x11 inch piece with the 11 inch across the scoreboard score at 1, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 5, 7, 8 1/2,
9 1/2; turn with the 5 inch piece across the scoreboard score at 1 and 4.
at the one inch scored line mark that as your front (as shown below, right side).  On the left side you scored at 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 cut down to the second score line and then cut at an angle, see below, do that on the other side.
On the side where it says front, cut down to the 3rd score line 3 1/2 inch score line, and cut at an angle and do that on the other side. Below is what your piece should look like.
(you can also view the video tutorial for more details)

Next place tape on ends

Fold in at all the scores.

Fold over the back flap and adhere down. Do not adhere the front flap down.

Next cut out two large circles out of cardstock and acetate.

Next adhere them down. For this part I suggest to watch the video tutorial. You want the circles to line up. Place one circle in the folded midsection and place one circle on the outside. Next I adhered the snowglobe from paper collection on the back.

Next I adhered down in the front the stand piece of the snowglobe along with beautiful gold embossed angel and poinsettias. I also added in a couple of the poinsettias.

Here is the finished cards. I added a Merry Christmas stamped from the stamp set from May's Card Kit.

I hope you found both of these cards inspiring.  I love the chipboard pieces that are in this kit, they are perfect for cards, tags, and scrapbook pages. The Holly Wreath has many possibilities, as do the beautifully cut angels. I can't wait to share more with you all this month. You can find more details viewing the video tutorial.
