Let's capture the seasons with these three beautiful and delicate shabby chic and cottage-core vibe cards and tag using the 2026 May Scrapbook Kit. We welcome in the delicate bird's nest with the shimmering blue butterflies, along with the lush pumpkin resting on a stack of ages books with shimmering autumn leaves and let's get nostalgic with the winter wonderland featuring the stunning pair of skates surrounded by frosted poinsettias and glittery snowflakes. Come along with me as I share some wonderful techniques how to blend vintage charm and layered textures into these seasonal creations.
To start out I used two of the arc cards that were left over from the 2026 April Card Kit. So I used one of the pattern papers from the 2026 May Scrapbook Kit. I then traced the flaps and arc on the pattern paper, then cut out all of the pieces.
After cutting out all the pieces glue then to inside and outside flaps.
Next I cut out a long 1 inch strip piece of paper. I wrapped it around the card and glued the where the pieces met in the middle, then cut off the excess piece. This creates a belly band, which is a closure for the card.
Here is the inside of the card. I fussy cut the lantern as an accent for the inside.
Here is the front of the card. I added flowers and added some stickels to the snowflakes but the photo doesn't show it.
Card #2
For card #2 we did the same steps by tracing the card and flaps onto the pattern paper, then cutting out the pieces. Adhere them to the front and inside of the card.
Here is what the inside of the card looks like. For this card I used a fall pattern paper from the Scrapbook Kit.
Next I used a few of the Perfect Pearls and Pearl Ex powders from previous kit on the leaf chipboard piece. ***for details view Video Tutorial***
After I was done with the blending the colors I used crystal glaze over the leaf. Once it was dry I adhered on top of the card.
Here is the finished card. I did use gold stickels over the images so they would stand out more. I love these beautiful vintage boarders that go with the Blue Fern paper collection.
Large Tag
Last I did a large chipboard tag. I traced the tag on the pattern paper, cut out the paper and then adhered it on top of the chipboard tag.
Next I painted the beautiful chipboard border that came in the May Scrapbook Kit.
After the paint dried I sprayed on a little bit of the Aquamarine spray from the May Mixed Media Kit.
Once it dried I adhered the border onto the tag.
I then cut off the excess chipboard piece. I adhered on a few butterflies I fussy cut, I added some flowers and a silver corner metal piece from the Mixed Media Kit.
Here is the finished tag. I just love how this tag turned out. The beautiful aquamarine colors with the pinks are just stunning. I love the pink mixed with the cream background from the pattern paper. I did add some gold stickels around the butterflies.
I hope you found some inspiration from today's project. With this 2026 May Scrapbook Kit we created a couple of seasonal cards you can save for future use and the beautiful shabby chic tag is perfect for birthdays or any upcoming occasion you can give on a gift.
Thank you so much for stopping by and crafting along with me today.
Until next time, keep curating those beautiful memories. ~Deb

Today I'm sharing the June 2025 Mixed Media Kit and what I created using this kit along with the June 2025 Card Kit. I hope you enjoy the projects below and get some inspiration. I have links down below for you and a step by step tutorial, along with the video tutorial as well which contains more details.
June 2025 Mixed Media Kit June 2025 Card, Tag and More Kit
To get started Cover the circle canvas with the vintage rose paper. Then cut off the excess.
Next I used a chipboard frame from Tres Jolie shop and adhered it over the little cherub on the other vintage decoupage paper.
Next cut around the frame and cut the excess off from the backside of the frame.
Next I added paint around the edges of the canvas and the top. I also dabbed some paint on top of the frame and dabbed a bit of Nuvo Sparkle Spray on the frame sporadically. I added a lace to go under the frame and across the right side of the canvas. I cut some roses from the bouquet that is in the kit and adhered them down next to the chipboard frame.
Next I took the Swirl butterfly chipboard and cut them in apart. I painted the butterflies pink and sprinkled some crystal glitter on top and for the swirl I used the root beer reactive ink painted on. For the cloud word "love" I painted that with the pink paint from the Mixed Media Kit.
I also added glossy accents to the top of the little cherub image and the cloud word "love". I then added some words, little fairy girl and the deer from the card kit placed the on top of the canvas.
Shabby Chic Tag
Next I tore part of the scrap from the rose paper we used from the canvas and I adhered it to the chipboard tag.
Next I used the paint and stencil from the kit and dabbed the paint on top of the tag.
After the paint on the chipboard dried, I placed a drop of the reactive ink in a small cut and added water and painted the mixture on top of the chipboard.
Next I painted these diamond chipboard pieces with the stamperia paint from the Mixed Media Kit. I added some Nuvo sparkle spray on top of the tag and I dabbed a little bit on top of the diamond chipboard piece. I also sprayed the remaining swirl butterfly chipboard with the Nuvo sparkle spray and adhered them to the tag and then placed flowers down.
I painted the other circle word "laugh" and placed down in between the flowers.
Here are some close ups of the canvas and tag.
I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial and are inspired to use the June 2025 Mixed Media Kit along with the June 2025 Card, Tags and More Kit to create something wonderful. Thanks for joining me today.

Today I am sharing my first project using the February 2025 Scrapbook Kit. If you haven't seen the new February Kits you need to check them out they have lots of fun goodies inside. And with that being said, I have a couple of beautiful chipboard tags I created using the Feb. Scrapbook and Mixed Media kit. I have the step by step down below with photos but I also have the video tutorial that shares more details. I have links throughout the post for everything I used.
Feb. 2025 Scrapbook Kit Feb. 2025 Mixed Media Kit
Tag #1
To start off cover your tag with a piece of pattern paper. I usually place glue on my chipboard tag and then lay the chipboard on top of the pattern paper, burnish down really well and cut out.
Below I decorated the Love with Key chipboard piece using the rose gold Gilding Flakes from the Mixed Media Kit along with the pink gold Pearl Ex.
For the gilding flakes you want to use either your glue or you can use 3D gloss gel to adhere the gilding flakes to the chipboard, like I did below on the key portion of the chipboard.
For the "love" portion I took my modeling paste and mixed in a little of the pearl ex. But first I brushed on textured paste to the "love" portion first. Once that dried I brushed on the pink pearl ex with modeling paste and let dry. Because I wanted it a little more pink I did my versa mark and patted it down on the "love" poured some pearl ex on top of it just a little bit and then heated it to set it.
Next I adhered on the flowers and the small grapevine heart with my glue gun. I used my glue to adhere the chipboard "love" piece. Next I added some gilding flakes around the tag to give a little bit more interest to the tag and adhered some flat back pearls.
Here is the finished tag. One thing I did to the pink flowers is I used a little gesso with water mixed, and brushed the mixture on lightly on each flower to lighten them up a bit. I then went over the flowers with stickles.
Tag #2
For tag #2 cover the front just like we did the for the first tag.
Next cut a piece of 4x4 pattern paper. On my scoreboard I have black line down from the 6 inch I use this as a marker when I need to score something like this or in the middle of something. So line up your corners on the black line or your 6 inch line and score at the 5 inch on all four sides turning your square around.
Next fold at the score lines and you will cut at the intersected parts of the square. This will give you a small envelope. (as shown below) Also you can view the video tutorial for more details.
Here are some of the pieces I fussy cut out from the cut apart sheets in the Scrapbook Kit. Once you have your envelope folded up and flaps adhered glue it down on the tag.
I glued on the small envelope fill it with the hearts. I did use foam tape on the hearts and the rest of the embellishments. I used a piece of seambinding from my stash for the bow. I added in flat back pearls, glued on the paper flowers and used glossy accents to add the shine to the hearts.
I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. For more details you can view the video tutorial.

I am here today sharing these beautiful tags I created using this months August Card, Tag and More Kit from Tres Jolie. This kit is just filled with a lot of beautiful items you need to create lovely tags for any occasion. I have the link to the shop for you throughout this step by step tutorial and I have a video tutorial for you below as well.
To start off I covered the tag with some pattern paper from the Card, Tag and more Kit, then trimmed around the tag. From my stash I added the top and bottom border using a canvas border from Prima Marketing that I inked.
I decided to add the little metal rectangle piece over the little clock to have a small focal point.
Next I added the large piece of flower ephemera along with a few ephemera cogs from the paper collection. I then adhered a small sentiment from the ephemera packet. I also added the metal corner piece upside down and placed one on top and one on the bottom.
TAG 2
For the Tag 2 I took one of the pattern papers from the card kit and placed clear gesso around it, set aside to dry. Once dried I took the pink and amazon green paint couture paint along with the textured crust mixed together. Then I used the stencil from the July Mixed Media Kit, Vintage Floral Stencil, and placed over the paper and spread the mixture over the stencil, set aside to dry.
I then added my gold border to the top and bottom, this is another canvas border from Prima Marketing I painted using the antique gold paint from Paint Couture.
Next I added ephemera from the card kit and added a little sentiment on the bottom, it's little hard to see as it's white sentiment on a very light colored cardstock "You Are Great", the sentiment is found within the paper collection. I added the ephemera cogs and flowers around the the tag.
For this part I used the art pebbles that were in July Mixed Media Kit along with the green pearl ex. I placed glue on the flat end and then dipped them into the pearl ex, set aside to dry. This will allow you to change the color the art pebbles, such a cool technique.
Here is where I dipped the flat end of the art pebble into the pearl ex. You can also do this technique with paint.
After they art pebbles dry you can adhere onto the tag or card with your glue.
Here are both the tags done. I added some ribbons on top and adhered the clear art pebbles to the tag with the umbrella, and green art pebbles really added a nice color to the tag. I like that you can spruce up these art pebbles using different mediums. I really like how both tags turned out. They are so pretty.
I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial, remember I have the video tutorial for your convenience above. I had a great time using this months August Card, Tag and More Kit to create this Pretty Pink Steampunk Tags and sharing the fun techniques with you. I hope you gained some inspiration from todays project and create something with this months Card, Tag and More Kit.
