Vintage Floral Mini Album Flip Through Waterfall Craft Tutorial for Tres Jolie Kit Club

 Welcome back to the channel Crafty Friends!

Today's tutorial we are crafting a gorgeous vintage shabby chic mini album packed with interactive elements, pocket flops, waterfall inserts, and beautiful floral embellishments. We are using the 2026 July Card Kit, I have the link down below for you.

After packing the envelop album adhere all you pieces on, as shown below.

Next I adhered some magnets down to create a nice closure.

I decided to create a waterfall out of the tags from the kit, so I cut 1 inch strips and scored at 1/2 inch. Adhere the folded edge of the strip to the edge of the tag on the left side. Cut off the excess strip. Do this for all 4 tags.

Next I thought this piece with the beautiful frame and lines would be perfect to create a nice Belly Band for photo mats. 

First place double adhesive around the outer-edge of the paper. (See Below)

Next grab a plastic mat and xacto knife and cut down the printed lines leaving 1/4 inch from the top and bottom where your tape is. 

Once your done remove backing and add glue/adhesive to the larger side of the back and around the taped areas. ****For More Details View Video Tutorial****

Adhere down this piece to the middle of the album.

Once you paper the inside bottom flap create a 1 1/2 inch strip from pattern paper, score 1/2 inch on one end and tuck under the pattern paper mat as shown below. This is the arm closure for the tag waterfall.

Please view Video Tutorial for placing down the tags to form your waterfall. I then added a magnet to the top of the tag and the back of the arm closure.

Next grab one of your large corner tucks, and we are going to cut half.

Cover the top of the tuck spot and place the glue 1/2 inch flaps and glue down in the right hand corner.

Here is the inside. I placed the "Precious Memories" chipboard on inner top flap.

Spring Fling Bee Happy Folio

Hi everyone, 

Welcome back! Today, we are celebrating the arrival of spring with this adorable, bee themed folio using the 2026 May Card, Tag and More Kit from Tres Jolie. This sweet folio features a beautiful pattered papers, and dimensional embellishments, this folio is sure to bring  smiles and sunshine just opening it up or gifting it to someone special. Down below I have the step-by-step tutorial and the video tutorial that gives further details for each area inside the folio. 

2026 May Card, Tag and More Kit

To start out take the 12x12 black card stock and cut one piece at 12x8 inches and cut one at 4x8 inches. 

Next Score the large piece with the 12 inch across the top of the scoreboard.

Score at 4 1/4, 4 1/2, 10 1/4 and 10 1/2 inches. 

Next place 1/4 inch adhesive on the right side edge of the larger paper just scored and adhere the smaller piece 4x8 piece to the edge. Your Folio Base should look like the photo below.

Next cut out 2 pieces of cardstock at 5x5 ; Score 1/2 inch & 3/4 inches

Cut out 2 pieces 4 1/2 x 7 7/8 inches; Score 1/2 inch & 5/8 inches

After you score the 5x5 pieces cut the left and right ends off at a slant. Using a ruler make it slanted and use an xacto knife or draw a line and cut both pieces.(View Video Tutorial for more details)

Next adhere on the smaller flaps 5x5 inch to the top and bottom and then adhere on the larger pieces to the left and right side as shown below.

After you place on the flaps you can paper the outside and inside. 

Here I have the front of the Folio papered and decorated. I used the chipboard "Spring Fling" from the May Scrapbook Kit. I used a black marker around the border and then used crystal glaze on top and let dry. I added the lace as a closure and the added the flower with the chipboard honeycomb at the bottom along with one of the 49 and Market elements from the kit on the side of the Bee cut apart card.

Next for the left inside panel I created 3 small envelopes. Cut 3 pieces of paper 5x5 inches, I used the envelope maker for these but I did do a video tutorial showing how to create them using your scoreboard. I decorated them using the 49 and Market elements from the Card Kit.

The right side flap I used the larger cut-apart image and turned this into a pocket using 1 inch strips. I then placed a few photo/journal pieces inside the pocket with tabs.

Here is a close up of the envelopes. Each envelope has a little something inside.

Next I created a larger envelope and made this into a pocket as well. I created some of these beautiful framed see through window ephemera pieces using acetate, along with some of the elements from the 49 and Market packet using the frames, flowers, butterflies and sentiments. The envelope flap opens and holds some other photo mats and journal items. All the envelopes close with a magnet.

Here is the last flap. This is so fun to make and placed on these cute little buttons we created, please view Video Tutorial. This is like a policy envelope and opens from the top and bottom and then has the side flaps that open up from right to left. (View Video Tutorial for more details)

DIY Steampunk Cards & Tags for Tres Jolie Kit Club

Hi all, 

Get ready to travel through time using the 2026 March Card, Tag and More Kit! In today's video, I'm sharing my process for creating these  heavily layered, industrial-style Steampunk cards and gift tags. We're leaning into the grit with 'rusted' gears, vintage portrait ephemera, and plenty of twine. 
In this step by step tutorial and video tutorial I share layering vintage ephemera for maximum depth, working with "rusted' textures and metallic accents, and then using twine and ribbon to finish off the Steampunk & Time Traveler look.

To begin our tags we are going to cover the first one with one of pattern papers from the Card Kit.

This first has a few parts to it. The main base tag, chipboard piece will be covered with pattern paper. Then make a second tag cut out at 1 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches and punch a circle place in the middle to trace the middle of the tag as shown below. 

Then cut a smaller tag measuring 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, this piece will be inserted into the tag with the circle. Once I cut everything out I distressed and inked all of them.

Next place your glue to left side and top and bottom, leaving the right side open to 

insert the smaller tag.

Afterward I fussy cut out the tag that is placed on the side and added an eyelet on the side as well.

Here is the finished tag. For the sentiments I used 2026 January Card Kit. Added twine to the top of each tag.

Second tag is inked with Walnut Stain on top of chipboard piece. I distressed and inked all pieces for every tag and card.

Next I added an image of a door and then fussy cut out the little stamps from the cut a-part page. 

The little pieces in this paper collection are just perfect for these small tags.

Next for two of the chipboard tags I used the powdered rust colored paint from the 

2026 Mixed Media Kit to paint both tags. To make the paint just add a small portion to a cup and add a bit of water to get the right color you would like.

To get the tags very rustic and vintage looking. After painting the chipboard tags with the rustic paint I added Crackle Medium on both tags. Let dry for a bit, then I added some black paint using a paper towel dabbing it around to show the crackle areas. For the chipboard cogs I painted a few black and then on the tags and cogs I used Jewel Effect Paste Tiger's Eye Stones from a previous kit (kit not available).

Here on the 3rd tag I cut out the "HI" from one of the papers and framed with the metal frame from the kit. I also adhered down one of the chipboard painted cog. 

I then added a couple of other pieces of ephemera from the cut a-part page. 

The 4th tag I added an alpha border from the paper collection. I fussy cut out the pocket and used on the left side and adhered down one of the metal corners on the left side. I then added some of the other pieces of ephemera.

For the last Tag #5, I tore one of the paper pieces and inked adhered down, then added the door on top that was fussy cut from one of the pages. 

I cut out the word "illuminate" from from the scraps, adhered it down on the metal piece from the Card Kit and adhered this down, along with other ephemera pieces. 

Down below I have photos of all the tags and how I used some of the tags to create cards with them,

The card base for this card measures 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches and the mats are about 1/4 inches to leave a nice boarder around the card. I then added some chipboard cogs that were painted, a tag and a small pocket from the cut a-part pages.

This card measures 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches I used an old newspaper piece I had in my stash that I adhered onto a black cardstock and cut into a banner. I added one of the tags and one of the chipboard stamp pieces you can find at the stop. 

This Card is an A2 size card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches with the front of the card folded in half. I cut mats down to leave 1/8th boarder around the card and adhered the tag down on the front folded flap.

I hope you found some inspiration from today's project. In this tutorial you learned how to add depth and dimension to your handmade cards. We used out metal accents along with our chipboard tags and cogs turning them into Vintage Steampunk style using our 2026 March Card, Tag and More Kit, the Mixed Media Kit and items from our stash to create a fun rustic texture to these Tags and Cards.
