Turning Green

Hi all,
Hope you are doing well. With the Covid virus upon us and everyone in a slump let's do some crafty projects to keep our spirits up. Over at International Art & Soul we are seeing "Green", LOL The intaas -  #79 challenge theme is "Use Green As Your Main Color" especially with Spring right around the corner and St. Patrick's Day coming along too.
Green is one of my favorite colors, however I don't use it very much in crafting. This challenge did take me over to pinterest to gain some inspiration.

I decided to create a card using my distress ink Peeled Paint, and I used a stamp I've had in my stash for a few years and never used. I know right, shame on me. hahhaaha
The stamp is from , I used versa mark and clear embossing powder and then inked around the image creating a light center and then going light again on the way out. After I did the inking I also used my stampendous  Fran-tage embossing powders around to give a little bit of glitter to the image. I used TH Industrious stickers, the corner pieces on the card and then used my green ribbon for my bow and backed it up with green cardstock from BoBunny, along with some black 'Thinking of you" stickers I had in my stash. Super easy peasy card took less than 10 minutes to create.

Decorative Peacock

Good Day All,

I hope you all are doing well this weekend. Things are going pretty here in North Texas. We had a beautiful week in the upper 70's, however now we are going to the lower 60's to 70's. I know some of the states are still facing colder temps so stay warm out there. okay

With that being said I hope my card will bring a warm smile to your face along with some inspiration. Today I am sharing my card for One Stitch At A Time new challenge #258, Anything Goes with Embossing.

Here is my card:
For this card I chose the Mehendi Peacock Digital stamp which comes with 4 digital papers.
Isn't it just stunning? I just love how this turned out. I originally was going to
color the image but as I started I kept wanting to do something more.
So I grabbed my spellbinders mixed media foil, ran it through my printer and then embossed with black embossing powder. Once I finished I grabbed 3 of my liquid pearls and started creating little pearls along the image. I also dry embossed the background turquoise paper with my Anna Griffin rosette cluster embossing folder.

Here is a close-up of the peacock decorated with the liquid pearls.
I used Liquid Pearls - silver, yellow and rose gold.

Vintage Sunset Silhouette

Good Day All,

I know it's been a while since I posted but if you have read pasts posts you all know I am in the middle of moving. What an ordeal this has been, it's been like a roller coaster. So we have about two weeks left till May 1st, and I finally found a house. YEAH!!!! So the move is on....packing up the house and of course cleaning things out. Getting rid of tons of stuff, I thought about having a garage sale but then I wouldn't have time here and would have to move the stuff over to the new house and what's the point. right? So I am taking it down to the Goodwill.

Today my Guest Designer card for Quirky Crafts Mid Post Challenge #8 Blooming Quirky has something I usually don't do. But I've been really wanting to try this since I was inspired by a bunch of different uses of water coloring videos I've been watching. I don't use many silhouette images so I hope you all like my card.

Here is my card:

Used TH Distressed inks for watercoloring the background.
I wanted to create a sunset type scene that I've seen in photos.
It had pinks, blues and yellows, I love this type of sunset, it's so beautiful.
Since this is my first time I used a variety of colors
to create the look. I thought for my first time it turned out okay.
