Autumn Days Shaker Printer Tray

 Hello Crafty Peeps, 

Welcome back! I am so excited for Fall and getting the house ready for Thanksgiving Festivities. With that being said, I have a quick and simple Fall/Autumn Home Decor for you using the Rectangle/Square Printer Tray Frame from Clear Scraps. I have the links below and I also have a quick video tutorial for you. 

Rectangle/Square Printer Tray Frame

When you receive the Printer Tray you will get 1 Acrylic piece, 3 Frames, 

and 1 large Chipboard (back piece)

Adhere two of the frames together, as shown below.

Next paint the 3rd frame. I used a distressed stain, sprayed it all over the frame and used a napkin to wipe the stain around the frame. 

Next place the two adhered frames on top of the large chipboard and measure the squares and rectangles cut out your pattern papers. 

Once all the pattern papers are cut, adhere them down. Next on the back of the frame chipboard place double sided tape. 

After I adhered down the papers I added in the ephemera and shaker bits inside each side. 

Next peel off the acrylic film and place glue or adhesive on the frame and adhere down 

the acrylic piece on top . 

Here is a final view of the Autumn Days Shaker Printer Tray. Both rectangle areas have shaker bits inside, as to add a bit of fun to the printer tray. 

I did pop up some of the ephemera pieces with foam tape.

DIY Shiplap Farmhouse Pumpkin Decor

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

I hope y'all are having a great day. Today I am sharing a fun simple project you can make in an hour using the Clear Scraps Wood Shiplap Shape Pumpkin Large size, along with the 'hello Fall' stencil and Maple Leaf Shaker. Pumpkin Shiplap Shape Large

Lets begin with painting the pumpkin. I combined Distressed Paint antique linen along with some white paint. I used the antique linen with some paste and applied it on smoothing it out as I went around the pumpkin and then cam back in with white paint on top applying it on sporadically. 

For the stem part I painted it using Distressed Paint walnut stain. 

Next I placed down the 'hello FALL' stencil and used my Distressed Oxide ink vintage photo to ink up the words on the stencil. 

Here is what it looks like after stenciling. Looks so good, right? I love it.

Next using the Maple Leaf Shaker you will get 3 frames and the back of the shaker along with an acetate piece. 

Adhere the 2 of the frames together and place the acetate on top of the two frames you just adhered together. The other frame you can paint and you can either paint or paper the back of the maple leaf shaker. 

I painted my back shaker leaf and the frame that is placed on the top of the shaker. I used Stamperia Glamour Gel Dark Wood paint. Once it all dried I placed my shaker pieces inside and adhered the backing on. 

I found this fall bouquet in my stash with some raffia and tied it to the stem and adhered the flower on and the adhered the Maple Leaf Shaker on next to the stenciled 'hello FALL'. 

Here is the finished Farmhouse Pumpkin Decor. I tied the little bouquet around the top with Raffia and hot glued the flower. I just love how this turned out with the maple leaf shaker adhered to the hello FALL.

Oceans of Fun Mini Chipboard 8x8 Album

 Good Day everyone, 

It's Debbie here today with a cute summer 8x8 chipboard album. With summer coming to a close and school getting ready to start. I decided to end August with a cute Summer type ocean/swimming theme using the Clear Scraps Chipboard 8x8 3 tabbed album. I've been wanting to create this album using this paper along with this Chipboard album and I figured this would be a perfect way to end the summer. I hope you enjoy the step by step tutorial and gain some inspiration for your albums. You can always click on the name of the product and go directly to the store.

To begin your album place double back tape adhesive to each chipboard piece front and back prior to covering the chipboard mini album pages, unless you are using glue adhesive than do one page at a time.

Here is the one of my chipboard pieces covered and I punched the holes before covering the back of the chipboard page. 

Here are few of the chipboard pieces covered with my pattern paper. 

You will also need to get some metal rings to place through the holes in the mini album. 

Below shows a photo mat I place on the front of the first tabbed page. 

The photo mat measures 4 1/2 x 5 inches.

This page is the back of 2nd tabbed page which has a large flap measuring 7 x 7 1/2 with a 

scored 1/2 inch on the top. 

For the front of the 3rd tabbed page I created 3 small flaps 4 x 3 1/2 inches and scored a 1/2 inch on the 3 inch side. Adhered these down horizontally, you can adhere down vertically as well. You can see more details on my video tutorial. 

For the back page I created a pocket out of the pattern paper I was using, and cut along the curves of the waves on the page. 

Here we are to the fun Mini Shaker Flip Flops. You'll receive 1-acetate piece, 3-frames, 1-back piece.

Glue 2 of the frames together, take the film off both sides of the acetate piece and adhere to the 2 frames you just adhered together. 

The one frame you have left paint or do what ever you would like, and also paper or paint the back piece.  

Here is what I created with these super cute Mini Shaker Flip Flops. I painted yellow, added some glitter on top, papered the back and added the cute little pearl flowers on top of the flip flops. I added my little shaker bits. When gluing together be sure to really burnish everything down. 

Down below I have photos of all the pages I finished decorating with the paper collection. I wanted to share how you can add flips and flaps to these chipboard pages and even add large pockets. 

On the left hand inside page I added two flaps one opens up to left and the other opens up to the right. I did lay down some photo mats behind these. I also cut a little slit following the curve of the blue mermaid flap to create a pocket. 

On the right hand side page, page 2, this is the photo mat I shared above and here it is decorated with some cute stickers from the paper collection. 

Behind the 2nd page, backside, I created two mini pocket flaps that open up, one to the left side and one to the right side. Each one is a pocket using the small cut-a-part card images. The 3rd page to the right hand side is a large pocket that holds a booklet that hold many more photos for 4x6 photos or larger. I have closer of these two pages down below. 

Here is a closer view of the backside of page 2 with the two little flap pockets that open up to each side. I place photo mats behind them, I didn't add magnets to these but you can if you'd like.  You can see in each pocket is a little card inside to add a photo or journal.

Here is a closer view of the front of the 3rd page. You can see the little booklet can slide in and out and you can can large photos or small photos. In this booklet I did add a couple of the cut-a-part cards for journaling. 

Here is the back of page 3 and front of page 4. 

For the back of page 3 I have a large flap. (measurements above) I placed a pocket on the front with a couple of cut-a-part cards inside. Photos below of the inside of the page when flap is opened.

 For the front of page 4 I decorated the little flaps I created and coved the front and back of each on with pattern paper.

Here is what I placed behind the flap. It's a little book adhered to the inside and opens up. I did place a magnet down so the booklet would stay closed. You can see more details of this in video tutorial

Here is the inside when the flap is up I added a large 4x6 mat and decorated.

Now we are on the last pages. Here is behind page 4, which is photo mat and a couple of little mermaids and some little fish with some cute sentiments on the page. 

Now for the last page, which is the back of the book is the pocket I created and inside I placed about 5 of the cut-a-part cards inside for photos or journaling or you could have another booklet placed inside the pocket. 

For the last photo is front of the album. I just think this turned out so cute. I really love the mini shaker flip flops aren't they just adorable on top of the 8x8 Chipboard Mini Album. For Now I left my little tabs blank until I place some photos inside,

Red, White and Blue Shaker Flag and Chipboard Ribbon

 Good Day Crafty Peeps, 

Today I have a two page scrapbook layouts that feature the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Flag and he Chipboard Ribbon. These two layouts are so simple and easy I have all the details below for you as well as the links to both of the products down below. 

      Mini Shaker Flag                                               Chipboard Ribbon

              

For this layout its basically one sketch that is done horizontally and one vertically. So the measurements for all the paper cuts are the same for each scrapbook page. I have them listed below. 

2 - 12x12 pattern papers or plain papers (base page)

4 - 1 x 12 strips (red paper used as borders)

4 - 1 x 8 3/4 strips (pattern paper , banners)

2 - 3 1/2 x 12 pieces of pattern paper

2 - 4 1/2 x 12 pieces of pattern paper

1st Layout Page

For this layout take the red strips that are 1x12 inches and adhere one down about 3 1/2 inches down, as shown below. 

Next adhere the the 4 1/2 x 12 inch piece down and with at least 1/4 inches showing on the top, and place the 2nd 1 x 12 inch red strip down on the bottom, as shown below. Also cut the 1 x 8 3/4 inch strip into a banner (fish tail, see below the blue w/stars) and adhere that right above the red strip. 

Adhere the 2nd 1x 8 3/4 inch piece to the bottom right below the red strip. Next cut the 3 1/2 x 12 piece into a banner this is will be adhered on top of the larger piece, that is in the middle. Also cut about 1/4 inch off from the end.  (shown below)

For the Chipboard banner I painted the banner red first, then painted star blue. I then took a piece of scrap paper and placed it on the bottom of the ribbon tails at a slant and painted the sides blue and went around the top of the ribbon with a thin line in blue. Once it dried I took my white gel pen and outlined between the red and blue. From my the paper collection I took the a red sticker and adhered it the middle of the blue star.    

Here is what the Chipboard Ribbon looks like up close. I just love how this turned out. I added some other stars from the sticker sheet around the chipboard ribbon. 

Here is the finished layout. I added to places for photos and a few sentiments along with a cut-a-part card. I really think the Chipboard Ribbon makes it look so festive. 

2nd Layout Page

To start out when you unpack the Mini Flag Shaker you will have 3 frames, 1 back piece, and 1 acetate piece. The acetate has a film on both sides so you will need to remove that before adhering onto the frames, as shown in the next photo. 

Take two of the frames and adhere together and adhere the acetate on top of the frames. Remember to remove the film from both sides of the acetate. 

Next trance the back piece on to pattern paper and adhere to the front of your flag. 

Next paint the remaining frame 

Take both red strips that are 1x12 inches and adhere on the back of the 4 1/2 x 12 inch piece. Adhere this down about 3 1/2 inches over from the left side. It's not quit in the middle. This is basically the same layout as the top Scrapbook Page but just Vertical instead of horizontal. 

Next take the 1 x 8 3/4 inch pieces, again cut them as shown below (fish tail) and adhere them on right next to the red strips. And cut the 3 1/2 x 12 inch piece cut 1/4 inch off the end and cut the other end into a fish tail, as shown below. 

Next place your shaker bits into the Mini Flag Shaker, adhere the painted frame on to the acetate and adhere Flag to your layout. 

Here is a close up of the Mini Shaker Flag. I just love how this turned out. It is just perfect. 

Here is the finished layout. I love the the Mini Flag Shaker looks next to the firework stickers and on this pattern paper, it looks amazing. 

Here is a photo of both layouts next to one another. I am loving these pages with the Mini Flag Shaker and the Chipboard Ribbon.
