I am pretty excited to share a couple of the items I made for New Years with an image from the PaperShelter named Happy Meow Year! It is just darling, but once I got started I just couldn't stop the ideas from coming out so I made quit a bit here are a few images below. Hope you like them.
On this little glass charms I used copic markers and shrink-a-dink paper, the rings are made out of 16 gauge wire with blue beads. I made 4 of these little charms and hats for my family to ring in the New Year. :D
These hats don't have the little image attached yet but I wanted to show you all how cute the hats turned out. I just used dp and ribbon from my stash, cut and glued ribbons to the tops of the hats. I got the hat template from DIY Party Hats (there are a variety of videos; I just used bits and pieces) from my favorite place - YouTube. lol
Below is the front of the Calendar I made out of white paper lunch bags. I folded each one into the other like a book but left the openings open, so you can hide a peek-a-boo Birthday List inside for each month. You can see the little orange tag which shows a Birthday List peeking out.
The tag is stamped with a sentiment stamp from Recollections-Words; The Front is stamped with Inkadinkado - Meadow, SU stamp - French Script.
Paper - K&Company Brenda Walton - Best of Paper Pad (green paper); DCWV Citrus (shiny blue and the glitter blue papers)
Inked with Powder Puff inks- Limeade and Plum Crazy
Accessories - purple flowers from stash, number stickers then added crystal stickles to it for a glittery look; Wooded Butterfly - which is layered inked with powder puff inks (listed above), used versa mark with stamped with Recollection stamp - clear mini stamp and white powder embossed, surrounded with purple stickles. Wooden Bird inked with same inks powder puff and green stickles applied to the first layer of the bird so the second bird laid on top you can see green glitter for on the wing to give a 3D effect.
Here is the January calendar that shows the Happy Meow Year, with the little Birthday List poking out.
Here is the close up.
