Today I have a Christmas card. In one of my previous posts I explained how one of my New Years Goals is to finish items, plus use things in my stash. (be frugal) Well I am in that mode and have been pretty busy finishing up projects that have been sitting on my desk for a while. This card I was going to do for Christmas, because I knew what I was going to make with the negative from a tree cut out a while back. But as Christmas grew closer...yes, I ran out of time. So I finally finished it, I think it turned out pretty nice. I even made these little poinsettias from these vellum flowers that have been sitting in my stash for a along time. On the inside I made look like a present. :D
So here is my card. Hope you get inspired to make some Christmas cards during the year.
Stuck my dp behind my tree negative.
These are a close up of the vellum poinsettia's &
the little ribbon I tied around the scallop punch I used.
***These are the flowers I used to make the poinsettias. I took a stylus and wore the petals down and then folded each petal in the middle. Glued three flowers together indifferent directions so it looked like a poinsettia, stuck the gem in the middle. See Close Up picture Above.
Supplies Used:
Paper - Recollections Red and Christmas Green and Christmas Glitter Pad (white strip on front panel); DCWV the Christmas Stack - the design paper showing presents (older stack)
Ink - Momento - Tuxedo Black; Powder Puff Green with Envy(used on inside sq. panel.)

I am entering the following challenges:
Christmas Fun Challenge Blog - Christmas - Anything Goes (first challenge)
In the listing of challenge blogs above I have sought out only blogs that dedicate to Christmas Card making all year. This way I am sure to get some cards made before this next Christmas so I won't be last minute (procrastinating). (little giggle) So these were just a few that I have happened upon and wanted to join in the fun. The CHNC Challenge Extra blog is an extra blog that is related to CHNC Challenge blog(a new Christmas Challenge every Saturday) I have entered only CHNC Extra blog and Sparkles Christmas Challenge is a fun one with No coloring theme. Christmas Fun Challenge Blog which is a brand new Christmas blog starting this year. Christmas Cards all Year Round is a weekly challenge which is sure to get your Christmas mojo going all year.
I hope you found this helpful to get started on Christmas cards, I am going to go for 1 card a week hoping that will help build up my supply for this next Christmas Season.
Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend. :D

Absolutely lovely card. Love the flowers. I also made a New Year's resolution to use up my old stash and finish cards that I long ago started (or else get rid of it--since I'm running out of room to store everything). Thank you for following our theme this week and joining us at Christmas Card Challenges.
