Altered Tags

Hi Everyone,
First of all I want to  say it is nice to be back, I needed to take some time off for personal reasons. Now that I am back I have some awesome things to show you. Since my last post I had just completed an altered journal book, right. Well I got some Tim Holts items and started playing around and just couldn't stop. I am not sure if any of you use the Distress inks but Oh My Gosh, they are awwwe...sommme. (big smile) : D  If you don't use them they are so simple to use and have a great effect on card stock creating a beautiful antique background when embossing or using the perfect pearls. I know tags have been done before but with Mother's Day around the bend I thought these would look nice attached to gifts. For these tags I used liquid pearls on a couple of the tags and then used a wooden embellishment sponging ink around it and it really jazzed up the tag. I took a couple of pictures of the handful of tags my daughter and I made I hope you like them.

Here is the list of items used:
Stamp - Tim Holtz (stampers anonymous)
Tim Holtz ink dabber with sponges
Inks - Broken China, Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint
Ranger Tags
Ranger Liguid Pearls
Ranger Perfect Pearls with perfect medium
From my stash (bits & pieces) - ribbon, paper flower, bling, wooden word

Heres my pictures:

These two (above) are what my daughter created. Totally love her bows. (Wish I could do that.)

I wanted to mention as I was typing this up I was looking for a site to join in a fun challenge, I found a another wonderful site "Make My Monday", I like what I saw. There is a midweek inspiration day, as one of the DT members made a pendant with the destressed inks it's absolutely beautiful. Maybe I will have to give that a try. : )  With that said I am sending my creations over to this site for the challenge Anything but a Card Goes.

Challenge site: Make My Monday Challenge - Anything but a Card Goes

I hope you were inspired to try this or something new.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. Happy Creating. : D
