Haunted Victorian Mug and Gothic Pumpkin Decor

 Welcome Back My Crafty Friends,

Today we are adding a touch of dark elegance to your morning routine with this striking black mug detailed in Victorian haunted house along with the spooky bats and black cat. We also have the our Gothic Pumpkin to elevate your autumn and Halloween atmosphere with this mesmerizing decor with magical tones of purple and black for stashing small treats, trinkets, or seasonal treasures. I have the step-by-step and links down below for you.

To begin our project we will be using a Large ceramic pumpkin. I created this using Casting Powder and a pumpkin mold. If you are using something different prepare this item with either white gesso or clear gesso and let dry before applying Graphic 45 Rub-on Treanfers.

Next I painted the pumpkin purple let dry and then I came back in with black paint watered it down and brushed on lightly and wiped off with a paper towel. Let it dry.
After drying I cut out the Boo-tiful rub-on transfers and started to apply them using my finger or the popsicle stick inside the packet.

I continued rubbing on the transfers in various places.

Here is the finished pumpkin. Be sure to place a sealant over the transfers once you are finished.

Next we are using a couple of mugs to decorate using the Graphic 45 Boo-tiful Rub-on Transfers we have in the 2026 October Card Kit.

Before you start, apply isopr0panol alcohol all around the cup where you plan on rubbing on the Graphic 45 transfer images. Cut the rub-on transfer's apart, start placing one down, then rub it with the popsicle stick or you can use your finger.

Here is what mine looked like once I finished rubbing it on.

You can also add other rub-on's on top of one another.

Here is what the white coffee mug looks like.

Down below I have close-up photo's of the pumpkin and mugs.

For more details on this and all project you can always view the video tutorial process, which is at the top of the page.
