Folio Journal using 2025 October Card Kit

Hi everyone, I have a fun idea on how to use the 2025 October Card Kit creating a Folio Journal or a nice little place for you to jot down ideas, dreams, plans or journal about past, present, or future events happening in your life. This little book hold lots of ideas for you and I hope you enjoy the step by step tutorial as well as the video tutorial. I have the links down below for the October 2025 Kits.

To start off using the black 12x12 cardstock that comes inside the kit; Cut 2 pieces at 9 1/4 x 6 inches these will be the front and back cover; cut 1 piece at 2 x 6 inches this will be the spince; cut 4 pieces at 9 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches these will be the pages.

After cutting the paper adhere the large pieces of the pattern papers to the 9 1/4 x 6 inches black card stock. These are front and back covers.

Next grab the spine cut at 2 x 6 inches, score at 1/2 inch on the left and right side, this leaves 1 inch in the middle to place our pages on.

Next take the pages cut at 9 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches, score at 1/2 inch on the left side of each page.

Next place adhesive on the spine 1/2 inch flap, fold the flap upward towards you. Place on the outside and adhere to the left side edge of the back cover. ******************For More Detail Please View the Video Tutorial***********

Here is what is should look like after you adhered the first part of the spine down.

Next take the front cover and do the same thing, by adhering the 1/2 inch flap to left side edge of the front cover. ******************For More Detail Please View the Video Tutorial***********

After adding the pages I colored the beautiful chipboard piece with some pink gelatos and the green ink Elixir.

Here is a closeup of how the chipboard butterfly looked after I used the pink gelatos and the green elixir ink. I also placed the pretty prima marketing flowers around it. In the front I adhered down the pink flat back pearls that are part of the Card Kit. ******************For More Detail Please View the Video Tutorial***********
