Tea Time Tray & Tea Cups

Good Day Everyone,

I hope you are having a great day. For this project I used the March 2025 Card, Tag and More Kit, along with the August 2023 Mixed Media Kit, which contains the wooden tray I used. Today I have a beautiful home decor or gift for someone that you can create in a day, it's a beautiful Tea Tray along with some paper tea cups. I do have the step by step down below as well as a video tutorial that provides more details.

March 2025 Card, Tag and More Kit

To begin I used the large tray I had left over from the August 2023 Mixed Media Kit. (still Available) But you can use a wooden frame or the back of a canvas.

Next I painted the frame edges and inside using a acrylic fawn color. You can choose any color you would like.

After the paint dried I decided to cover the edges with the paper and cut a few pieces using the Ciao Bella paper Timeless Moments from the Card Kit. I measured the inside to cut down my image to fit inside and adhered down with glue. I also fussy cut out some of the ephemera pieces from the cut a-part sheet and adhered on in the corners along with the flowers. I places a little bird on top of the flowers down in the left hand corner.

Next I used a tea cup template I've had in stash for a while. I traced around the template on the pattern paper. If you have a die you can uses that but I used this and it works well as you can place little tea bags inside or other trinkets. I will have the template below for you.

Next just fold in the tabs and glue. You can see more details in the video tutorial.

I created two tea cups and decorated the outside with the images from the the cut a-part sheets from the Card Kit. I just the all the images so vintage and shabby. I placed some tea bags inside.

Here is the what the final tray looks like. I love how it turned out. I did used some metal handles I had in my stash.

Here is photo of the tea tray sides with tea cups. This would make sure a beautiful gift for someone who is sick or for Mother's Day. You can tea or coffee and even a few little cookies or scones.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. I loved how this project turned out and it only took an hour to create it. Definitely a fast project that turned out beautiful with this amazing
