Fun Valentine's Lip Gloss Purse

Happy Valentine's Day My Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a great day. Today I have something fun and fast for you to create for Valentine's Day or any special occasion. I created these cute Valentine's Lip Purses using the February 2025 Scrapbook Kit. I have links below for you to go check out this super cute Scrapbook Kit that has so many uses not only for Valentine's Day but Birthday's, Wedding cards, Mother's Day, Thinking of You and this paper collection comes with many words and phrases. I have the step by step below along with the video tutorial.

February 2025 Scrapbook Kit

Let's start our project.

Start my cutting out your Cardstock to 3x6.

I'm using white but you can use a different color if you'd like.

Next score your cardstock with the 6 inches laying across the top of the scoreboard.

Score at 2 5/8 and 3 3/8 inches.

Next use your scoreboard and ruler for our tick marks. Place your ruler at 2 inches (as shown below), Mark at the 1 1/4 inch and then mark at 1 3/4 inches.

Scoot the ruler down to the 2nd score-line and mark at the same

measurements 1 1/4 inches and 1 3/4 inches.

Here is what your marks should look like. Don't make the below the 2nd score-line.

Next cut a straight line from one dot to the other.

Fold in the cut piece and you should have an opening to slide in the lip gloss or lip balm.

I created these for my granddaughter's for Valentine's Day. Here is how I decorated each one.

I used border punches for the top and cut other cardstock to accent the pattern papers I used from the Scrapbook Kit. I fussy cut out the cute little animals and sentiments from the cut a-part page in the Scrapbook kit. I added in the handles with ribbon I had in my stash and for the closure I used valcro. You can see more details in the video tutorial.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. I enjoyed creating these little purses for Valentine's. These would be nice to give for little gifts for friends, family or co-workers.
