Mixed Media Inspirational Tags Tres Jolie Kit Club

Good Morning,

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had a great Christmas Season celebrating with family and friends. With the New Year starting I have a new project to share with you using the New January Mixed Media Kit which contains all the basics you need to create wonderful textures to your projects. January 2025 Mixed Media Kit

Tag #1

To start off you want to use the white gesso and apply to one of the chipboard tags from the kit.

In the video tutorial I do go over what each mixed media product does.

Next I used a stencil from the February 2024 Mixed Media Kit and applied the Modeling Paste over the top using the silicone end of the paint brush.

To speed up the drying process I did go over the top lightly with my heat gun. I then used some of the Liquid Acrylic Violet paint from the Jun 2024 Mixed Media Kit.

Next I sprayed some of the Lindsey Gang Moon Shadow Mist (September 2024 Mixed Media Kit) over the purple paint I used. Then from my stash I used an ornate metal piece and adhered with the 3D gloss gel and painted it with white gesso.

Using the 3D Gloss Gel, this acts like an adhesive so you can adhere down embellishments. I applied to the back of the white resin bird and flowers and the art stones scattered throughout the tag. The window is from the January Scrapbook Kit which lays on top of the metal piece.

Tag #2

This tag is fun and fast.

Apply gesso on top of the chipboard tag. Then using the Texture Paste white sand (this is gritty) apply a thick coat in the middle and around the edges. Then I used I the silicone teeth edge to create my swirly lines in the paste. I did this a few times. (video tutorial has more details)

Next I started adding some inks and some other things on top of the tag. Make sure it is dried. I used my heat gun to speed up the drying time.

After I finished applying my paints and powders I used some gold shimmer from my stash to spritz on top of the tag to give it a nice golden shimmer.

Here is Tag #1 all finished. I used some ribbon from my stash for the top. I then adhered the Sentiments you get from the Booklet in this months Mixed Media Kit these are fantastic. I then added in the little image used from the January 2024 Scrapbook Kit. I love how this tag turned out. This would look beautiful on a card or a gift.
