Hi Y'all,
Its Debbie here with my first DT project for Tres Jolie. I am so excited to share with you this layout I created using the June 2023 Scrapbook Kit. Not only are we bringing you new projects using the new June kits but its also Tres Jolie's 5 year Anniversary, stay tuned as I know we have lots of fun things scheduled for y'all.
In this scrapbook layout I created I'm sharing a few photos with you so you can create this layout to place your own beautiful photo inside. I really enjoyed using the papers created by 3 Quarters that are within Scrapbooking kit as they are very vintage and have a masculine feel, however when using them you can definitely add a feminine touch as I did with this layout. You can also view the process in my tutorial I share over on Tres Jolie Youtube Channel.

Starting out I used the white brick sheet from the paper Vintage Man paper collection along with another sheet that has an argyle gray bottom with a dragon fly on the right hand side.
Next we tore around the white brick piece. When tearing the side I tore a little bit further on the right and left side in order to expose the beautiful graphics on the 12x12 sheet we placed behind. I also curled in all 4 corners and the torn indented sides and used black ink & Distress Oxide Speckled egg inks to give color around the edges of the page.
I then adhered down the brick page and added the cards and the photo mats along with the lace. The card with the butterfly is actually cut from one of the 12x12 sheets. Photo mat measurements - base mat 4 1/4 x 61/4 inches top photo mat measures at 4x6 inches. I inked around the cards and photo mats.
Here's a close up of the laser cuts I placed above the photo mat.
Once these were all in place I added flowers from my stash, a few metal steam punk gears down on the left side corner and one near the blue flower. I had to use the beautiful wings, so attached the metal wing embellishment with the laser cut keyhole heart on the top right corner of the card with the butterfly. I added another metal gear in the middle of clock under the photo mat where it's curled inward.
Next I added my photo and slid the photo in place behind the gears. You can view the tutorial on Tres Jolie's Youtube channel to see all the details. (video link above)
I just loved how this layout turned out of my grandparents. I hope you like the layout and give it a try using the new Scrapbooking Kit Club for June. This paper collection is just beautiful and is so versatile.
Thank you so much for viewing my post and take care. TTYS. Hugs - Debbie
