Today my project is a using a beautiful digi from Scribble & Scrap Store - Vintage Rose Heart.
Here are some other pictures of my Vintage Heart Tag/Bookmark they are taken this morning as I lost my original pictures and had to take new ones. So the lighting is a bit different than the first picture above.
To make this tag I taped it to a cardstock and ran it through my printer. That's how I got the image on the tag. Then I used TH Distress inks to make my watercolor background. Once it dried I then used the same colors to dab around the flowers for a little more intense color on the roses and the heart. Added my Heart locket to the seambinding. And decorated the bottom of the tag/bookmark.
Supplies:
Stamp - Scribble & Scrap Digi - Vintage Rose Heart (click on the name takes you to the Store)
Paper - Craft Tag by Ranger/Inkssentials; Prima - Natures Garden Collection on the bottom portion of the tag and fussy cut the bird, butterfly and little heart.
Ink - Used mini distress inks to create my watercolor background - scattered straw, picked raspberry, shaded lilac, stormy sky, mustard seed and worn lipstick also used these colors to dab onto the flowers; Used distressed markers to accent the edges of the roses - peeled paint (stems), spun sugar, and mustard seed.
Accessories - Stickles-crystals, lace, seambinding - purple, yellow, coral; Clear Rock Candy, Heart locket; versa marker pen to set the Lime Chalk given to me by Sunshine Honey Bee. (need to tell you about that in another post) : D
