Butterflies with G45 Sweet Sentiments and Botanical Tea

Hi all,
Wow, time just flies by fast. I went out of town for awhile to pick up some baby items from my SIL in Austin, as you may know I will be a grandma in 2 more months. (1st grandbaby). : D
Well when we got back I found out springbreak was the next week (which is this week) so had to plan some things in hurry with my youngest daughter. I also got my computer back from the shop and it seems to be back to its old self. (yeah) So now I can get to my posting, emails and other stuff. Speaking of....let's get on with today's post.

So, I have been introduced to Graphic 45. Not sure if you all have seen some of their papers but WOW!! and the projects people have designed with these fab papers is just breathtaking and so inspirational. So I recently have bought some G45 stamps and paper packs. I think I am in love with G45. hahahaha
I have several projects using G45 but today I am sharing only one its a card I did using Botanical Tea stamp set with matching papers along with the secret garden stamp set and a piece of dp from the Sweet Sentiments paper pack. The design of my card was specifically for the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #141. I have been wanting to join in the deconstructed challenges for a while and finally gave it try.
The sketch:

Here is my card.

Supplies used:
Paper: Graphic45 - Sweet Sentiments & Botanical Tea
Ink: Used copics to color in the butterflies BG15, B00, C1, RV23, R20, R11 V06, V12; TH vintage photo & victorian velvet for the background on both pieces of the tags.
Stamps: Secret Garden - Did clear embossing on the script stamp behind the butterfly image; Botanical Tea - Butterflies
Accessories: used liquid pearls - silver around the butterfies; crystal button moounted on the MS scallop punch.

Challenges entered:
Deconstructed Sketch No. 141
Crafting for all Seasons Challenge Blog: Ch. #72 Spring into Spring

SisterAct Card Challenge - Challenge #47

I have to say that using G45 paper was sort of hard, both sides of the paper is just gorgeous, so cutting it up just makes you feel like your destroying the beauty of it. lol  It was also hard for me not place bling on it as I wanted to keep the card simple to show the beautiful prints of the papers. If you haven't done so yet, try Graphic 45.
Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty : D

  2. Hello Deborah
yes I love Graphic45 papers and I do understand about both sides of paper being so beautiful that it almost seems impossible to cut it . I get around that by buying two sheets of same paper so I can use both sides ..LOL
Great take on sketch and a stunning card
