OSAAT Challenge #196

Good Day,

Yeah!! I am back at posting for OSAAT since the Christmas holidays. Please join us in welcoming the new year by joining our challenge #196 the main prize is winning all the digi's the DT used for Challenge #194. :D   AAAwwwweSommme. When you join our Challenge please read the rules at the top of the Challenge post.  To win main prize you MUST use an Image from our store.  Runner up prize for person using none store image is $3 to spend in the StitchyBear Digital Outlet.

Ok..so this challenge I got the chance to choose our image and I chose a really sweet image, Fairy Gun Gun. With this image I kind of stepped out of comfort zone and added a lot more embellishments than what I am use to, also did some fussy cutting and made some of my little flowers. When I saw this little image she just reminded me of little garden fairy. :D
Here is my card, hope you like it -


***This is a Close Up of her - I used glossy accents on her wings and dress; Used smooch Sassy pink and shappy pink on the ribbon, dress and hair bow. Her hair I colored with TH-antigue linen distress marker and Copic RV21. 
 
***This is Close up of the bottom of the card -the little blue flowers I made from prima flowers I cut and rolled up and placed white smooch in the middle. Used Crystal stickles on flowers.

***The inside of the card - used the negative butterfly paper and attached 3 punched butterflies for the border. I also fussy cut a rose and attached new the sentiment.

Paper - DCWV-The Primrose Stack (this is an awesome stack); Recollections-Kraft paper; SU-white
Ink - Tim Holtz-Vintage photo, Tea dye, Worn lipstick, Broken china ( sponged around edges of card, bird cage and fussy cute images); Smooch - Sassy pink, Gold lame, Shabby pink, White, Molasses (sponged gold, molasses and shabby pink on the white cardstock, along with worn lipstick tea dye from TH);Copics - E21, B02, B00, R11, R20; TH Distress markers-peeled paint, antique linen, broken china, faded jeans
Stamps - Digi Image - Fairy GunGun; Sentiment (front) - Sweet'nSassy GirlyGirlCookie; Sentiment(inside) Hero Arts
Accessories - MS butterfly punch, Cricut - birdcage(bought as a single image,used silver liquid pearls on the birdcage); Lace and Rose flowers-from Live&Love; Glossy Accents-on wings and fairy dress; Spellbinders-Shapeabilities Floral Flourishes; Stickles - Crystal; Corner metal with small rose was from my stash (received from a friend)

  2. When I first saw this card Deborah I thought to myself "awww, Deborah has fairies at the bottom of her garden". You have created such a beautiful scene that it is hard to believe that you stepped out of your comfort zone on the embellishment front. Every element is so beautifully thought about and adds to the beauty of your stunning fairy image. Oh, I do love your sentiments.
