Hello Beautiful Tiered Card and More for Tres Jolie

 Hi My Crafty Friends,

Have you seen the new Tiered Cards from Tres Jolie? Well if you haven't we are going to use one and decorate it using the May 2025 Scrapbook Kit. We have 3 fun and easy cards we're going to create today. An easel card and a Happy Birthday card using the one of the new Word chipboard pieces. I have a step by step tutorial below but I also have the video tutorial here for you as well. Links to all the products will be within the blog so just click on the words and you'll be directed to the Tres Jolie Shop.

May 2025 Scrapbook Kit                                                             Tiered Card

Card #1 Tiered Card
When you receive your tiered card score 1/2 inch on one end and
score the middle of each long piece.

Next trace the black chipboard pieces, cut out 6 for each size to cover the front and back.

After you are done adhering all the pattern paper or cardstock to your pieces adhere the chipboard pieces to the 1/2 inch tab with the fold side down as shown below.

Next adhere the larger tiered piece to the center of the large base chipboard piece.

The for the middle piece and small piece of the tiered cards adhere them to meet the edge of the large piece you just adhered down to middle of the base.

Here is a side view of the card, so the 1/2 inch tabs should be facing down so the tiers fall on top of one another. Next you can decorate your card.

For my Tiered card I used the leaf vine chipboard piece  and roses chipboard piece. I used clear gesso on them first then used my inks to color them. For the vine part I used a brown marker. I cut the rose chipboard and used it around the card. I also used the stamp set from the May 2024 Card Kit for my sentiment. To finish the bottom I used the flowers from the May 2025 Scrapbook Kit.

Card #2 Easel Card

Cut 2 pieces at 6x6 and 1 piece at 6 1/2 x 6. Score a 1/2 inch on the 6 1/2 inch side. The card should measure 6x6.

Once your card is put together score a diagonal line on the front flap of the card from edge to edge.

Place adhesive on bottom right hand portion and place the extra 6x6 cardstock on top of the adhesive. **As shown below**

The easel card should stand like the picture below.

Next I took the both pattern papers with the roses in the middle and placed one on the front with adhered to gold foil cardstock from my stash.

The second sheet I fussy cut out the middle rose image and placed it inside and over one of the large frames from the Scrapbook kit. Adhere this on top of the rose image that is already on the front of the card. It will give it a 3D look.

Next I took an oval from and placed it on the right hand bottom corner, fussy cut out a rose and added my own sentiment in the middle of the frame. This will help hold you easel in place when standing up.

Here is the finished card. I did matte the inside and backside of the card.

Card #3 Happy Birthday Card

To get started I used one of the chipboard words and colored it with a black marker.

Next I used my xacto knife to cut around half of the flower so my frame will fit under the flower.l

I used the circle frame and adhered only the portion that fits under the flower, the other part of the frame I placed foam tape underneath.

Next I adhered my chipboard word "happy" and my sentiment on top of the frame and used stickles to give a little sparkle to the card.

Here is the finished card. Super easy to create. Just a few things and it looks perfect to give to a friend or family member for their birthday.
