Hey You, Happy Easter

Good Day Everyone,

Hope you are doing well. Today is a tutorial on how to use Flock to enhance your stamp images. So if some of you are new stamping this will show you how to enhance your images with Flock. Flock comes in various colors - white, brown, gray, pinks, reds, black and much more.

I know some of you may know this already and may have your own way of flocking images, but those that are new to stamping or learning about the different supplies used for enhancing images I hope you can find this tutorial helpful.

The stamp I used for this is from the Crafty Sentiments Designs Store - Hey You. This image is a nice image to learn on because it has an open space.

Here is a picture of the supplies you need, now of course if you have another heavy duty glue that you use that is fine, too. I just like this glue and find it a very good sticky glue for every project.
**Art Glitter Glue**; flock color;
small paint brush for brushing away excess

Well here is the beginning - grab a cup of your favorite drink and sit back to enjoy. :D
I colored my image first before flocking -

First apply your glue to the in the middle working
the glue towards the edges so in case to much glue
comes out you can work towards the edges.

Add the Flock to the glue

Then pat down softly with your finger into the glue, then
softly do circular motions. Use your paint brush to brush
away excess flock from the image.

Apply glue to one half of the body

Apply Flock to the glue and ............

pat down the flock softly into the glue.
Again do a circular motion

Brush away excess flock from image

Apply glue & flock to other side

This is a picture of me softly doing circular motion to the entire image.
The circular motion allows the flock to stick down to the glue but also
help get the loose flock off the image

All Finished :D

  2. Very cute! Love how your sheep turned out - so fluffy! I don't have any flocking and I have to admit I really didn't know what flocking was or how to use it. I've heard of it but that's all. So now I know - thank you! It really looks amazing! Great tutorial!
