Oh, gosh I have a card to share with you today that is something really different than what I usually do and took me out of my comfort zone. I hope you all like it. :D
Today at One Stitch At A Time we are starting our New Challenge #220 "Anything Goes with a Flower. So we want to see any of your creations with flowers, so please join us. :D
Our Sponsor
The Sponsor for this weeks challenge is StitchyBear Digi Outlet with the September 5 image prize pack.
For the Challenge I chose Butter Blue by Barb Jensen she is a very fun image to work with and really gave me much to think about.
So here is my card - Don't you just love her hair. lol I usually don't do different colors but lately I've just been in the mood to experiment. I've seen other people give images different hair color so it kind of inspired me to try it.
The spots on her wings are colored with distress marker Peacock Feathers and Crystal stickles applied for a glittery look. :D
I did a bit of water coloring behind her to make it look like her aura. (I am not into aura's so hopefully pink & purple are a good thing) : )
***I told you this was different from my norm but I definitely had fun coloring her hair "Pink".
The inside of my card I added a little banner. Left it plain for a special message later.
