Holly Jolly Christmas

Hi all,

I hope you all are doing well as we get closer to Christmas. I finished my Christmas cards yeah!! :D
And I am actually getting into the Christmas music, speaking of the title of my post. hahahaa
I love the song "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas it's the best time of the year, oh' by golly have a Holly Jolly Christmas this year." :D  I don't know all the words so I just keep singing certain lines. hahahaaa  I am sure you know what I am talking about.

I made this card a while ago used the Cricut Pretty Pennants-Holly pattern, but didn't know how I wanted to decorate it. Have you ever done that before where you start something but then you don't know what to do with it. Huh...After circling ideas I decided to stamp a Holly image around the plan card, clear emboss it and use TH Tea ink to go over it. It gave it a really nice and elegant look, added some red gems on the pennant holly cut outs for that sparkle and shine. But before I did any decorating I took gold string glued it behind the pennant and glued them all down then took my ink and inked around the cut outs. I stamped Merry Christmas with Momento Rich Cocoa across the bottom.
I hope you like my card -
This is a close up, I used Clear Rock Candy stickles all over the card for sparkle :D

Inside of the card. I love this look, inked the inside of the spellbinders die.

  4. That happens to me sometimes -- make something then can't think of what to do with it. I just usually leave it on my craft table and eventually, after seeing it every day, something clicks!! I like your card!

Thanks for entering our Christmas Challenge at Cut it Up!
