I made this card for my daughter's 13th birthday. How time flies, it just seems like she was in elementary school now she is in 7th grade. I have three older girls but she is my youngest and the last one, until we have grandchildren. lol
Here is a picture of her opening her present -
The paper I bought is from Recollections. I really liked this paper it looked like school paper with really pretty sketched designs and the colors are so vibrant.
Here is a picture of the package of paper and then the sheet I used, the paper is like a lime green.
The picture below is suppose be the green which is above ^ but I wanted to show you the design on the paper cause its so neat. It reminds me of when I was in school and use to doodle on my notebook paper. :) Not sure if any of you all did that.
Here is my card................the green here is exactly what the paper color looks like.
Instructions:
I placed the card in the middle of the green patterned paper, cutting the sketched images of the paper with an xacto knife to fit around my girl image. I placed her in the middle so the paper images would surround her. I colored in some of the paper images with my copics and colored my digi image with copics too. I used recollections adhesive gems and used number stickers and the little Happy Birthday sticker (pink with glitter stars) from my stash. My digi image is from Cuddlebug Cuties - Christina which one of my favorite sites. Anna is an awesome artist, her digis are beautiful. So stop by her site and take a look around.
Copic Colors: 0-colorless blender, Girl Image: Top-YG06, G14, Lips- RV29; Eyes- E29; Blue Jeans-B45,93,97; Shoes-100, E15, E31, E00; Skin - E21,51; Hair- E57,E19, E31 Balloon YR68,G05, BV08, Y08, R29, BG13 (I outlined the image with a blue colored pencil)
