Happy Sunday. I hope you all are having a great weekend. This weekend I had a garage sale and did pretty good, it was held at a scrapbooking store in Allen, Texas, the place is Personal Scrapbook. It was so much fun. However I did find time to complete a quick card for my son in-laws B-day, he is 25 yrs young.
Making masculine cards are a challenge for me anyway, cause I love glitter, flowers and bling. So decorating is really hard cause I never know what to put on it, I don't want to make it girlie, ya know. Does anyone else have this problem?? I don't think it is all that, it turned out ok. But I think I am going to try to challenge myself to make a few more masculine cards so I can become more comfortable in that area.
I am submitting it to a couple of challenges. I wanted to use this stamp I had for a while it is so cute stamp is by Inkadinkado clear set, Humorous Birthday.
CCEE Stampers - The Eyes have it (use eyelets or brads)
Just Add Ink - Sketch & Color Challenge, bashful blue, Early Espesso, Raspberry Ripple
OneStitch at a time - Anything goes
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Its Your Birthday
In addition I found a few new sites they are really great sites to visits. Just Add Ink has some great project ideas. The DT is really talented and their creations give great inspiration for the upcoming holiday's cards and gift box ideas.
The other site I found that I have seen a lot of people talk about is The sisterhood of Crafters this site has some awesome 3D cards that are just amazing. The DT for this site has some talented ladies as well, I was in Awwwe, when I saw some of these cards.
Please visit both sites both are great and very inspirational. I hope you enjoy them.
Here is my card
Well I hope you enjoyed the new sites and the card. Have a great weekend and I will be busy creating some Easter stuff. Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting. : D
