Believe in Christmas Home Decor

Good Morning Crafty Peeps,

Are you decorating for Christmas yet? Well I have a treat for you today, another simple and quick project. I have a Christmas Home Decor using the cute Vintage Truck and the Chipboard Word "Believe".

Vintage Truck LG Chipboard Embellishment            Believe Chipboard Word Title

On the Chipboard word Believe place glue on top and then sprinkle red glitter on top.

Set aside to let dry.

Here is the finished Believe chipboard word.

Next on the Vintage Truck I embossed the railings with gold embossing powder.

Next I painted the Vintage Truck red. For the tired I punched out black circles, gold embossed some paper and punched out smaller circles and added brads in the middle. I adhered them down on each wheel.

Here is a Christmas sign I got from Dollar Tree. I cut two flaps from a box.

I took an Christmas sign I got from the dollar tree. I took a box and cut two flaps off and  adhered the two pieces of box flaps on the back

I placed double sided tape on the back of each side.

Next I took the truck turned it over and adhered a few pieces of the box flaps on the backside of the Vintage Truck. I added two layers of small pieces on the back of Vintage Truck.

Next I added double back tape and glue to the box pieces and adhered the truck down.

Next I added in my green foliage and adhered the Believe Chipboard Word in the middle. I am loving how this turned out for a nice Christmas Home Decor, so quick and easy.

Autumn Days Shaker Printer Tray

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Welcome back! I am so excited for Fall and getting the house ready for Thanksgiving Festivities. With that being said, I have a quick and simple Fall/Autumn Home Decor for you using the Rectangle/Square Printer Tray Frame from Clear Scraps. I have the links below and I also have a quick video tutorial for you.

Rectangle/Square Printer Tray Frame

When you receive the Printer Tray you will get 1 Acrylic piece, 3 Frames,
and 1 large Chipboard (back piece)

Adhere two of the frames together, as shown below.

Next paint the 3rd frame. I used a distressed stain, sprayed it all over the frame and used a napkin to wipe the stain around the frame.

Next place the two adhered frames on top of the large chipboard and measure the squares and rectangles cut out your pattern papers.

Once all the pattern papers are cut, adhere them down. Next on the back of the frame chipboard place double sided tape.

After I adhered down the papers I added in the ephemera and shaker bits inside each side.
Next peel off the acrylic film and place glue or adhesive on the frame and adhere down
the acrylic piece on top .

Here is a final view of the Autumn Days Shaker Printer Tray. Both rectangle areas have shaker bits inside, as to add a bit of fun to the printer tray.
I did pop up some of the ephemera pieces with foam tape.

I  hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial and found some inspiration from today's project. This is so simple and easy to create for a lovely Thanksgiving or Fall Home Decor using the beautiful Fall colors.

Vintage Orchard Fall Wall Decor

 Hi Crafty Peeps,

Hope you all are doing well. Well here in Texas we are getting some nice cool weather, and we are soooo loving it. With Fall coming in I decided to create something fun using October's Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie, it is perfect for creating a home decor project. I created a circular Fall Wall Hanging. You can definitely do this on a canvas or place this in a frame or even as a center piece inside a wreath, so many possibilities. Below I have the link to the Scrapbook Kit, there is the step by step below as well as the video tutorial which has a little more detailed instructions on what I did.

                                                             October Scrapbook Kit

To create this simple Wall Hanging or Fall Decor piece is to get a 12x12 chipboard piece and trace a large circle on it. I used a tupper ware lid and traced around it. You can use a plate, lid or anything you have on hand. My circle is around 8 1/2 inches, you can do yours any size you wish.

Next I placed half of the circle on top of a pattern paper and traced a half circle. Do this for the bottom piece as well.

Here is the bottom piece I'm tracing.

Next cut them out and adhere down. If you have excess paper hanging over the edges in back cut off the excess paper.

Next I am placing some of the Laser Cut Elements around to see what I would like to embellish my wall hanging with. I did use one of the fences that came in the August 2024 Scrapbook Kit. I used vintage photo ink to color it as a dark brown.

Next I used one of the leaves from September 2024 Card Kit coloring it with gelatos and used the Clove alcohol ink from October's Mixed Media Kit on it as well. I did blend in 3 different colors on the leave using the gelatos.

Here is the finished project. I think this is going to look great inside a frame. I love the apple theme and the little gnome is holding a red apple I colored in with a red marker and used glossy accents on top to it would pop out. The yellow flowers are from the October Scrapbook Kit. I really like how this all came together, I hope you all enjoyed it.

Here are more photos of the Vintage Orchard Fall Wall Decor up close.

8x8 Acrylic Calendar Display for Clear Scraps

 Good Morning everyone,

I hope you all are having a great day. Today I am sharing with a really fun idea you can do using the 8x8 Acrylic Page Display along with the 6 inch Flower Pot Stencil from Clear Scraps.  Not only can you use this to display your beautiful layouts but you can also use it for monthly calendars. I have a fun a step by step tutorial for you below.

8x8 Acrylic Page Display                                         6 inch Flower Pot Stencil

Let's start by removing the plastic film from both sides of the Page Display Case.
Then cut a piece of card stock at 8x8 inches.

Next print out a Calendar. You can find free calendars on the internet for every month. I think this would be fun to change out every month with a new design, especially during holidays.
Adhere the calendar to the 8x8 inch card stock, and trim off the excess paper.

I also cut out a few borders to go around the edges of the calendar. I thought a fun summer theme would be great for July.

Next bring in the 6 inch Flower Pot stencil and inks. I thought it would be fun to ink up the calendar with the flowers. You can still write in any appointments or events in the calendar.
I used my memento inks.

I did five flowers, and only three pots at the bottom. I think this is looking pretty fun to display on my frig.

Next I used some of the stickers from the paper collection to decorate around the calendar. I added some ice cream cones, a fun summer sentiment, summer drink and a banner. I also added some flower stickers in the middle of each stenciled flower. On the flower pots I drew a little chevron design on top of each flower pot using different colored ink pens.

Next I added some magnets to the back for placing on the frig or you can place a ribbon under the little frame and tie as I did below.

Here is the finished Calendar. I think it turned out so good. I really like this idea and how fun to change out each month with a new design on it.

I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial showing how you can use this fun 8x8 Acrylic Page Display not only for displaying a page layout with photos but also as a fun display for your calendars. I hope you check out this fun 8x8 Acrylic Page Display and the 6"Flower Pot Stencil both are great items to use for your home decor and other craft projects. Butterfly Dream Canvas for Tres Jolie

 Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a great day. Today I have a colorful and beautiful Butterfly Canvas for you. I created this canvas using the June 2024 Mixed Media Canvas from Tres Jolie.

I have video tutorial down below for your convenience.

June 2024 Mixed Media Kit                                     June 2024 Scrapbooking Kit

If you have the Mixed Media KitMixed Media Kit we will be using the canvas, stencil and the modeling paste that come inside the Mixed Media KitMixed Media Kit

Place the stencil on top of the canvas and spread the modeling paste on the stencil, as shown below.

Once you are done spreading the modeling paste take off the stencil and wash the stencil right away. Set the canvas aside to dry for a few hours or you can use the heat tool but be sure to lightly dry the canvas do not get the heat tool close to the modeling paste or it will melt the paste.

After your canvas dries place some of the finnabair carmine paint on top of the canvas and spray with water so the paint runs and easy to spread around with the brush. You can also dab with paper towels.

below you can see the carmine paint and I used paper towels to blot. Next I added some of the Ochre to the canvas and spritzed some water on it and spread around around.

Here is what the finished canvased look like after I dabbed with paper towels. Let dry or you can lightly dry with the heat tool.

I fussy cut the large butterfly out from the Scrapbooking Kit, the paper collection is by Uniquely Creative. Adhere the butterfly to the canvas. I did fussy cut out the extra flowers and adhered some on the bottom.

I adhered down the word DREAM using the letters from the ephemera pack in the Scrapbooking Kit ephemera pack in the Scrapbooking Kit. I then cut out some flowers from the 2nd 12x12 pattern paper with the large butterfly from the paper pack.

I placed foam tape on the back of the flowers.

Adhere the flowers down. I think this gives the flowers a nice 3D look.

Here is the finial Butterfly Canvas . I added one of the little round stickers in the right hand corner from the sticker sheet that comes in the Scrapbooking Kit. I like the simplicity and elegance of  this canvas. It really comes together quick and makes an excellent home decor in a hallway or bathroom or bedroom wall. Would make a nice gift for a friend.
I hope you enjoyed today's step by step tutorial. I had a great time using both the June 2024 Mixed Media Kit  and  June 2024 Scrapbooking Kit to create this beautiful and colorful Butterfly Canvas for you all.  For more details you can always view the video tutorial process, which is at the top of the page.
