Monochromatic Christmas

 Good Day Everyone,

Hope you are having a great weekend. Here in N. Texas we had some storms but we managed to get through. Although I am praying for those who were affected by the tornados. But this weekend is nice and sunny with a bit of coolness in the air.

With that being said you know some of us around the world are already feeling winter has come and soon Christmas will be upon us. Today's card is for a Christmas challenge over at Intaas challenge #146 Christmas. So come check out all the wonderful Christmas projects over at International Art & Soul and pop yours into the challenge.

For my Christmas card I used the Anna Griffin Snowflake card kit along with Spellbinders poinsettia die that I had in my stash. I combined this card with silver and pinks for monochromatic challenge YT Hop that I am participating in. I also am popping a photo of the Wreath I created using red in monochromatic colors.

For this wreath I used white garland I had in my stash from last Christmas.
I made paper poinsettias using my spellbinders. If you want to see more details I have
a YouTube Share.

Autumn Colors - Squirrel Tag

 Good Morning all

Well looks like Autumn is on it's way here in Texas. lol  It's been around upper 80's, which is super nice and not sooo HOT.  LOL

Today over at International Art & Soul we are having a New Challenge - Autumn Colors. Yep, love the crisp cool air and the beautiful yellows, rust colors, with orange and browns. This is the time of year I miss living in Colorado.

I have a little tag to share with you today. I created this tag using a little Tag Kit I received Margaret Halldorson  who is over on FB Group A&M Creative Exploring Paper Crafts in the group they do lots of fun things. In the group once a month you receive a kit from someone when you join up to create a tag using everything you received, you can add your own stuff but the requirement is you must use everything in the kit.

I used everything and then used my Spellbinders die to cut out the tag and that's it. I like how it turned out so festive and ready to be placed on a card or gift.

Here is the Tag up close.

I just love that little squirrel image, he's adorable.

Thank you all for joining me. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. Hope you get a chance to hop on over to our International Art & Soul challenge Autumn Colors.

Have a Wonderful Day and Happy Crafting!

Wedding Wishes

Hi Y'all!!

Well I am back!! I have not posted in a long while due to work and other obligations. I hope you all are doing well. I sure have missed you all and missed crafting. I've had a lot going on since my last post in October. I have a new little granddaughter Ravyn that was born July 12th and I have quit a job to take on another position where I am able to stay at home now. :D  So with that being said I have created a new card for my niece who is getting married in August, she also had a baby last year. She's so precious, too. The card I created is for the International Art & Soul Dies Challenge.

So here is my card,

Very simple yet elegant card. As I said I just started creating again after many months of taking off from card making and doing many other crafting. It was like starting all over again. lol
I have to say I really enjoyed getting a chance to play again, I really needed it.
This card is made with several layers. I have the card base using cream vanilla cardstock and a carol cardstock using the Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty-Five, and of course some beautiful flowers. I also used an old stamp set from Stampin Up - Wedding Elegance, I am so glad I have kept this one definitely comes in handy. (links are posted below where I got some of my supplies)

**To make this card I layered the carol base on top of the cream card base, then layered the first die cut on top of the carol base, the second carol die cut has 3D pop dots on the back to give a raised look and the last die cut I lightly stamped the wedding bells and embossed the "Wedding Wishes" on top of the bells, placed 3D pop dots again on the back and placed down. I added the multi flowers I had from my stash, which were the same colors that were on her wedding invite. I hope she likes it.

Here is the inside of the card - For the inside of the card I added a photo from the
"Save the Date Invite" I thought it was so sweet and definitely added a lovely
personal touch to the inside of the card.

Supplies:
CardStock: Carol cardstock from Create and Craft; Cream/Vanilla cardstock is from CountryCraftCreations
Stamp: Stampin Up - Wedding Elegance
Accessories: Spellbinders Die - Majestic Labels Twenty-Five; Mulberry Flowers are all from Really Reasonable Ribbons.

So I want to invite you all over to part-take in our Die Challenge over at International Art & Soul where we just create to have fun. Don't forget to use your Dies.
Thank you all for stopping by and I will be posting more in the next week.
Hugs,
Debbie 😊

When a Bell Rings....

Happy Sunday Morning!

I hope you all are doing well. Things are going good here. I have a new card to share with you all this wonderful morning. One Stitch At A Time New Challenge 270 Anything Goes with Lace and/or Pearls. I invite you to join us for this wonderful challenge showing us some of those beautiful laces and pearls you got in your stash.

For this card I used the sweet image created by Digi Blessings - Angel Bells.
Isn't this image just so sweet? Cute little mouse ringing a bell, and the
sentiment is just perfect. I used Spellbinders Fancy Tags for the sentiment
with stickles mercury glass and a couple of pearls.
To create the frame around the image is Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25.
I used a little gold cord to tie up the bell, so the mouse looks like he is
pulling the ribbon to ring the bell. I also used stickles crystals for the bell,
mouse wings, and halo. To color the mouse I used my spectrum nior colored pencils.
The paper is the beautiful Authentique Classic Christmas. (I showed this paper
in one of my DT Haul Youtube videos)
For the embellishments I created a lace rosette and a lace border using pearls
that are placed along the top of the lace.

$10 coupon to use at the store

Ink: Spectrum Nior colored pencils

Discover A Beautiful world

Hi all,

Hope you are all doing good. I don't know about y'all but here in Texas the heat has just been unbearable. So glad to stay home and do some crafting. That's for sure.

Well today we are starting a new challenge over at One Stitch At A Time, Challenge 267 - Anything Goes with Dies. So you know what that means???  Get out those dies and upload your card so we can see it!! :D

For this I did a simple card I used Panda Bear Designs Butterfly Paper Pack. It has so many beautiful scene's in it I didn't want to lose the beautiful paper designs on it. So I used Spellbinders Rectangle Dies and I used the Shapeabilities Tudor Rose Collection Etched Dies to make the purple flower.

This digital paper pack is so colorful and fun comes with 5 designs that are so pretty with butterflies and the swirly images are just beautiful. I used every design 4 are in the front, the purple design I used for the sentiments and flower, another one for the background frame and the one with the black butterflies is on top, and the 4th is the two small cards in the front. The last one is used on the inside.

Here is the last one from the paper pack.
I really like this one cause the leaves hang over so pretty.

Love Is In The Air

Good Morning all,

Wow!! Can you believe it's February already? It's amazing time is going by so fast. And with a before Valentine's Day we have a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes with
"Love Is In The Air", yep that's our new theme.

So here is my take on the theme.  I used an image from the Stitchy Bear Stamps Shop, by Stitchy Bear - Love .  I also used some of the items I received from Scraps Of Elegance January Kit. I just love their kits, they are so fun and filled with beautiful paper and goodies.

I cut out the frame first with Spellbinders die - majestic labels twenty-five, leaving a
little tab that is folded down behind the frame. I cut out the design paper to the fit the
size of my card/frame and adhered the design paper on the back of the tab.
This is what gave me framed look of the around my image.
I fussy cut the hanging hearts from the paper and used stickles around the hearts and envelope.
The little blue flowers are from Heartfelt Creations - Stripped Sun Kiss colored with
light blue gelatos and filled with white prills.

For my image I layered it twice. I printed off on regular white cardstock and then
I printed it off on the pink patterned paper.
The design paper I used is from Blue Fern - Blush paper collection, the two sheets
I used to make this card is Enamored & Sweetheart.
Once I cut and colored everything I layed out my image and used pop dots
to give it a 3D effect.

Here I colored with my copic markers. I used white flower soft
to achieve a fur look to her coat. It reminded
me of the old vintage coats that had fur on them.
I also printed the man & woman image a third time
to enlarged the size so it would match the same
size of the Love sentiment.

Sweet Sugar Hallow Mini Album

Good Morning all,

Hope you all are doing well today and preparing for a nice weekend. Yes, it's Super Bowl Weekend and although I don't share a lot on my personal side because it's all about crafting. (lol) I'll tell you, I am a huge Denver Bronco's fan. So having them go to the super bowl is a real treat. (lol) I will definitely be wearing my Bronco gear and hoping they win. :D

Okay, So who is ready for Spring??? Well I am, although it's been a little on the mild side here in North Texas. It's suppose to reach 73 degrees, Whaaattt??? lol  But next week will be cold even if it's in the 40 - 50's the wind makes it unbearable.

Today I am sharing a bit of Spring with you using the New Released Sugar Hallow Collection from Heartfelt Creations. (love, love, love this set)
This 3x3 mini album is a treat for sure. I created it for the Crafty Card Gallery our Theme - Try Something New.

So here we go:
Here is my Project and supplies:
For the the front ofthe book I did fussy cutting(did a lot of fussy cutting throughout)
on the tag and owl from the collection.
The little flowers were sent to me by a friend and I thought would look pretty on the tree.
I inked around the paper edges with Momento ink - Lilac Posies.

Here is the mini album opened

This is the first page fussy cut the tags and added a corner pocket to hold the tag.
I embossed the corner pocket with Anna Griffith - April Garden emboss folder.

Fussy cut the corner flower piece and the little owls on top of the next page.
I just love those little owls. :D

Fussy cut the corner piece to hold the little tag.

A corner piece to hold the owl ticket

Fussy cut the flowers and used as photo corner pieces.

Fussy cut this cute little owl with the pink flowers.
Only the bottom of the flowers re glued down, so you can
stick a photo behind this little owl.

Added this tag piece with pop-dots for a picture or to journal. I also layered him so he is mounted with a pop-dot.

This back piece with the owls sitting on a fence is fussy cut from a tag.
I adhered it as an inside pocket for a photo or tag.

Here are the tags that fit inside the page pockets. They measure 2 1/4 x 3 1/2.
I used Spellbinders Devine Floral Die for the tops of the tags and
sprayed with Color Bloom - Cotton Candy.

The back of the mini album

Peace for Christmas

Good Morning All,

I have been making ATC's for a while and have a few I would still like to share with you. But today I am so excited to share this one I made for a swap and using some of my favorite things.

Of course Prima is one of my favorite, along with Graphic 45 paper collections and using DCWV- burlap paper along with using TH distress inks and Spellbinders dies.

Here is my ATC - This just turned out so pretty. I loved it!! :D

  • For this ATC I started with Graphic 45-Twelve Days of Christmas for the backing using distress inks - vintage photo. The Graphic 45 paper red stripped paper edges is distressed with DI - barn door and is also layered on top of the burlap from DCWV - burlap paper which is distressed with vintage photo.
  • Cut out the foliage using G45 Twelve Days of Christmas with Spellbinders - Foliage dies and used DI-pine needle.
  • I used a fame the Prima Marketing -Shabby Chic Treasure Collection that I sprayed a couple of times with Fireworks - Lady Bug. Used Pima Marketing Holiday Crimson  Poinsettias from last years Nov. Magical Kit. The little red flat back pieces were in my stash and so I am not sure whee they are from.
  • The word PEACE is from G45 Twelve Days of Christmas and secured with adhesive.

Well that's it. I hope you like it and find some inspiration for your Chistmas decor or card making.

Wishing you a beautiful day and a wonderful week ahead.
Stay Crafty and Hugs,

This has been the hardest thing I've ever gone through. I know we all go through many different trails and tribulations throughout our life but losing a sibling is the one that never crossed my mind even though I knew it would happen one day. He had been sick for many years and was full of life and had lived a wonderful life. I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends that were and still are by my side during my healing process. Since I have now returned home and am coming back I made a card to say
