It's a Vintage Garden with Ribbons

Hi all and
A Happy Mother's Day!!

Yea! My first post for Really Reasonable Ribbons just happened to land on Mother's Day and it's perfect because Mother's Day is a sign of Spring and Lots and Lots of Flowers. Right?? I have so much to share so please read to the bottom. Okay
First, I am so happy to be a part of such a great group of ladies. They really made me feel welcomed into their group, I really couldn't have asked for a more wonderful reception. :D Thank  you Bonnie for having me as a part of your team. :D  (still smiling from ear to ear)

Second, I have a lovely group of ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) I made using a few ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop. I think you all will love it. So let's get to it!! :D

ATC's are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 so I cut my base for my ATC's from chipboard and adhered the
2 1/2 inch Vintage Garden and Vintage Pink Floral Cotton Blend Ribbon to the chipboard with scor tape.
****Then I added a splash of white paint on top of each of the Cotton Blend Print Ribbon and edges.

This one I used the Vintage Pink Floral ribbon for the background &  Leaves just placed around the ATC and added my flowers. The Arianna Natural Crochet Lace is adhered with glue and I added small pearls on the side. Here you can see those so cute Pink Sweetheart Blossoms that come in the Sweetheart Blossoms mixed color pack. They are adorable! The pearls are from my stash.

A close up of the Gorgeous Rose that comes in the Trellis Roses mixed pink tones pack.
Isn't it beautiful??

Here is the Second one -
I used Vintage Garden Cotton Blend Ribbon. You can see a little bit of the white paint on the background over the ribbon. I added another pretty rose from the Trellis Roses mixed pink tones pack, which I added a bit of white paint to the edges and spritzed with pearl spray. I adhered the beautiful Arianna Natural Crochet Lace on the side.
The butterflies are Reminent Rubs from Tim Holtz. The pearls are from my stash.

A Full View of the ATC

This last one I used Vintage Garden Cotton Blend Printed Ribbons. Here I added Arianna Natural Crochet Lace on the side but folded it over on the edge of the lace behind the ATC. To Finish it off I added the cute little PinkSweetheart Blooms at the bottom, along with a few snippets of  Leaves.

Here is a Close Up. I did add wink of stella to the butterfly but it didn't show up very well.
The words are from Reminant Rubs from Tim Holtz. The pearls are from my stash.

A lovely picture of all 3 together.

Roses with A Cup Of Tea

Good Morning ya'all,

Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Today I am sharing an ATC that is a shabby chic look over at the Crafty Card Gallery. Hope you all like it as our them this Month is "Flowers", which is perfectly fitting with spring in the air, right?

ATC's are Artist Trading Cards which measure 2 1/2 by 3 1/2. I making these little cards as they do not take a lot of time and there is not a lot of room. So they are something quick and easy to create when you want to craft but don't have a lot of time.

Here is what I did to accomplish this ATC -

I used Blue Fern paper collection - Blush cut my base down to 2 1/2 by 3 1/2, fussy cut the teacup, bird & flower and heart with the little message inside the teacup. I added glossy accents to the heart and teacup. Crystal stickles to the fussy cut rose. Liquid pearls white to to the metal key and Say it with Pearls by Want 2 Scrap - white pearls in the corner and left side. I adhered lace in the middle of the card and placed the Prima Rose along with the gold heart button and fussy cut heart, teachp and other items ontop of the Lace from Reneabouquets, and the glitter glass is adhered on the background and placed my Reneabouquet butterfly to finish it off. I did distress the edges of the paper and used TH distress inks broken china & spun sugar around the card.

Here is a close up of the little letter.
You can read what it says, it's so sweet.
"A feast of flowers here behold
A thing of joy to see,
But ah! to me 'tis/'lis sweeter far
To feast mine eyes on thee!"

here I added liquid pearls to the center of the key.

In this pic. you can see a little bit of the
Chunky Glitter Glass I used for the background.

Supplies:
Paper - Blue Fern - Blush
Inks - TH distress inks - broken china & spun sugar
Accessories- Want 2 Scrap - say it with pearls; Buttons Galore - gold heart button; Glossy Accents; Stickles - crystals; Liquid Pearls - white; Renea Bouquets - lace, metal key, butterfly, glitter glass; Prima Marketing - pink rose

Peace for Christmas

Good Morning All,

I have been making ATC's for a while and have a few I would still like to share with you. But today I am so excited to share this one I made for a swap and using some of my favorite things.

Of course Prima is one of my favorite, along with Graphic 45 paper collections and using DCWV- burlap paper along with using TH distress inks and Spellbinders dies.

Here is my ATC - This just turned out so pretty. I loved it!! :D

  • For this ATC I started with Graphic 45-Twelve Days of Christmas for the backing using distress inks - vintage photo. The Graphic 45 paper red stripped paper edges is distressed with DI - barn door and is also layered on top of the burlap from DCWV - burlap paper which is distressed with vintage photo.
  • Cut out the foliage using G45 Twelve Days of Christmas with Spellbinders - Foliage dies and used DI-pine needle.
  • I used a fame the Prima Marketing -Shabby Chic Treasure Collection that I sprayed a couple of times with Fireworks - Lady Bug. Used Pima Marketing Holiday Crimson  Poinsettias from last years Nov. Magical Kit. The little red flat back pieces were in my stash and so I am not sure whee they are from.
  • The word PEACE is from G45 Twelve Days of Christmas and secured with adhesive.

Well that's it. I hope you like it and find some inspiration for your Chistmas decor or card making.

Wishing you a beautiful day and a wonderful week ahead.
Stay Crafty and Hugs,

Spread Your Wings

Good Day All,

I hope you all have been doing well. I am doing pretty good, except allergies are now kicking in and so woke up with a sore throat and eyes look like I've been crying for weeks. Not a good look, for sure. :D  Things are just moving along got all of the main floor unpacked, Yeah!!! And now for the upstairs, which shouldn't take to long. (hopefully) We are definitely loving the new place.

Hey, got my crafty room set up, although I share with hubby he has his office space in an area "an area", and I have my "Crafty Space". hahahaaa, like how I emphasized that? So pretty much my stuff takes up the room. Oh' and then some, which I had to move to a closet. (can you say Hoarder) lol

Anyway who's ready for a Challenge??? Well it's my last day to post for Quirky Crafts. I can't believe it's been two months. Wow! I had a great time being part of the team, they are so talented and have such wonderful creations giving inspiration to all. :D  I am sad to go but I truly need to focus on some personal things. I did let Cazzy know that I would love to join them again in the future as a Guest Designer.

&
For this card I did a two in one -
If you follow me on FaceBook -www.facebook.com/debbie.adams you know I do ATC swaps. I haven't really posted many on my blog but you will see within the next month I will be posting many different things. : )
I did an ATC for my swap partner from Scraps of Darkness & Scraps of Elegance. I thought it turned out pretty neat. I don't get to play very much so this time I used Viva Decor Inka Gold Metallic Rub for the background with Spellbinders Media Mexage Foil Pack Two. I actually used my flower punch on the purple and green foil to make the flowers. Well I hope you all like it.

Here is a view to show I popped up the wings. You can kind of see the sparkly on the
background from the Metallic Rub I used.

Another side view

View of the foiled flowers with green leaves and Turquoise Stickles in the middle.
