Painted Garden Framed

Good Morning All,

Hope you are having a wonderful start to your weekend. My weekend is going pretty good so far. Going to the movies with hubby and my youngest daughter. The weather is holding up pretty good so far here in North Texas, hoping it continues to shine.

Well today we have a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time, Challenge #263 Anything Goes with Stitching real or faux. Yep, so get your "Stitching On" lol. We want to see your beautiful creations with stitching real or faux.

For this challenge I made a framed creation with a paper collection from PandaBear Designs - Painted Garden found in StitchyBear Digital Outlet Store. I just love this paper it's so pretty and the patterns are just beautiful for a summertime look. After I adhered my squares on my paper I used a 12x12 purple embossed glittered sheet from DCWV Birds and Butterflies paper stack and placed it in the frame to hang on wall in my hallway. I like the bright cheery colors it really adds a lively feel to the little hallway.

Here is my project -
For this project I used these beautiful digital papers from PandaBear Designs - Painted Garden
there are 10 different designs. The butterflies were fussy cut from one of the papers and the
faux stitched project is adhered to the green striped papers from the collection.

Here is a close up on the faux stitching I did, I used Stamp'in Up
paper piercing template to make my faux stitching. For the butterfies
I fussy cut from one of the digital papers I made antennas from
black wire.

Hi all,

I hope you all are having a nice weekend. Today we have a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time Challenge 262 - Anything Goes with Hot Colors. Yep, it may be cloudy, raining or cold where you are but it is totally Hot Colors over at One Stitch At time.

For my project today, I created a canvas using IKEART image - angel sitting on a rock.

Hand colored the image with my copics.
I used BoBunny Gesso from CountryCraftCreations, then used textured paste
with the TH Rays stencil. I used fireworks sprays Dandelion, Tangelo, and Lady Bug.
The sentiment I found on the internet and printed and used inks around it.

Here is the left side of the canvas.
I used Tim Holtz Flourish stencil.
Right side of the Canvas

Here is a close up of the canvas.
To give the rock some texture I used Viva decor Rusty Paper
with chunky glitter from Renea Bouquet.

ON with the new challenge, one of my favorite challenges at One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes with Vintage Challenge. .
I used Lady Jane digital stamp by Stitchy at StitchyBear Digital Outlet Store.
The paper is Graphic 45's Mon Amour, I just love this collection so beautifully vintage with a lot of love you can just feel from the images.

Here is my card, I did a lot of layering, a little fussy cutting of the roses.
I used black cs as my base then did 2 mats behind my image and the framed image.

I colored my image with copics and added a bit of clear Wink of Stella pen to the
feathers & ribbon on the hat, I used white liquid pearls on the necklace and earrings.

Good Morning all

So glad to have you join me again. :D  FIRST, I would like to say a big Thank you to my new followers. Thank you for joining me on my crafting journey and I hope you find much inspiration on my past posts and future ones to come.

Today I am sharing a Tag I made for the new challenge at One Stitch At A Time - Ch. 259 Anything Goes with Distressing.
Here is the Tag I made using an image from Stitchybear Digi store LilyFairy by DigiBlessings.
For this Tag I started with my image from Stitchybear digi stamps colored with my colored pencils. I used TH manila tag and added 3 colors of distress paint - tumble grass, weathered wood and faded jeans. I used TH distress ink - mowed lawn around the words I cut out. I used Stampendous - Frantage around the tag to give some detail and gold prills from Reneabouquet. Used twill ribbon and organza ribbon from my stash.

Here is close up photo of the image. I used pop dots to raise the leaf of the
lily so it looks as if the leaf is hanging over the mouse & fairy.
I fussy cut the flowers and placed around the bottom of my tag.
I added stickles on the little lily flowers.

Decorative Peacock

Good Day All,

I hope you all are doing well this weekend. Things are going pretty here in North Texas. We had a beautiful week in the upper 70's, however now we are going to the lower 60's to 70's. I know some of the states are still facing colder temps so stay warm out there. okay

With that being said I hope my card will bring a warm smile to your face along with some inspiration. Today I am sharing my card for One Stitch At A Time new challenge #258, Anything Goes with Embossing.

Here is my card:
For this card I chose the Mehendi Peacock Digital stamp which comes with 4 digital papers.
Isn't it just stunning? I just love how this turned out. I originally was going to
color the image but as I started I kept wanting to do something more.
So I grabbed my spellbinders mixed media foil, ran it through my printer and then embossed with black embossing powder. Once I finished I grabbed 3 of my liquid pearls and started creating little pearls along the image. I also dry embossed the background turquoise paper with my Anna Griffin rosette cluster embossing folder.

Here is a close-up of the peacock decorated with the liquid pearls.
I used Liquid Pearls - silver, yellow and rose gold.

Love Is In The Air

Good Morning all,

Wow!! Can you believe it's February already? It's amazing time is going by so fast. And with a before Valentine's Day we have a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time - Anything Goes with
"Love Is In The Air", yep that's our new theme.

So here is my take on the theme.  I used an image from the Stitchy Bear Stamps Shop, by Stitchy Bear - Love .  I also used some of the items I received from Scraps Of Elegance January Kit. I just love their kits, they are so fun and filled with beautiful paper and goodies.

I cut out the frame first with Spellbinders die - majestic labels twenty-five, leaving a
little tab that is folded down behind the frame. I cut out the design paper to the fit the
size of my card/frame and adhered the design paper on the back of the tab.
This is what gave me framed look of the around my image.
I fussy cut the hanging hearts from the paper and used stickles around the hearts and envelope.
The little blue flowers are from Heartfelt Creations - Stripped Sun Kiss colored with
light blue gelatos and filled with white prills.

For my image I layered it twice. I printed off on regular white cardstock and then
I printed it off on the pink patterned paper.
The design paper I used is from Blue Fern - Blush paper collection, the two sheets
I used to make this card is Enamored & Sweetheart.
Once I cut and colored everything I layed out my image and used pop dots
to give it a 3D effect.

Here I colored with my copic markers. I used white flower soft
to achieve a fur look to her coat. It reminded
me of the old vintage coats that had fur on them.
I also printed the man & woman image a third time
to enlarged the size so it would match the same
size of the Love sentiment.

This image comes with 3 paper designs. So I copied the image a few times and fussy cut the scarves, hat, earmuffs, buttons for the snowmen. Used white flower soft for the top of the hat. Day of the Dead

Hi all,

Today is a new challenge at One Stitch At A Time, Challenge 249 Anything Goes with the Dead/Rememberance.

Ok, so I have a question, Have you ever had something totally different in mind to create with an image? Well originally I had something in mind that was totally different then what I ended up creating. lol

Hope you like what I did with this image, I used Artsy Coffin by Floppy Latte from the StitchyBear Digi Outlet Shop.
Here is my project. I actually displayed it during Halloween. Looked great with all the other decor.

For this I folded the edges of the coffin after printing it out from my printer. I cut out the middle skull and popped it up so it looks 3D. Added stickles around the coffin and on the swirls.

Sideview of the coffin.

I used the Spellbinders Die (Decorative Labels Twenty Eight) to make the card base and used other dies from the same set to cut out the image and the gold frame.
