I Love My CAT Folio (Pictures)

Hi all,

Well I have been down with the flu for the last few days. So this was the soonest I could post my I Love My CAT Folio I created for my daughter.
For this Folio I used Echo Parks CAT paper collection and Echo Park Pretty Kitty Stamp Set throughout the book. The stamp set is so cute and loved how it looked in the little journaling booklets I created. I hope you like everything. If you are interested in the CAT paper collection just click on the link it will take you directly to spot you can view the paper https://www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/echo-park-mini-themes-cat-collection-kit

This is actually my first Folio I've ever done and I had so much fun creating it. Loved how it turned out and it's totally cat approved as my daughter's cat Jack was giving it a good inspection. lol

Here is how we ended up with Jack in our family. As my oldest daughter was driving home one day from work she saw something fly across her windshield and hit the corner bumper of her car. She pulled over to inspect what it was and saw that it was a kitten. Thank goodness she didn't run over him. Poor little guy was shaking. So she picked him up and brought him home. Of course we had two dogs at the time and although we liked cats we weren't planning on getting any more pets cause everyone is out of the house except our youngest who will graduate next year. Well needless to say after pleading and multiple and multiple crying from our youngest daughter, we gave in to keep the lil'fella. Poor lil guy had been thrown out onto the highway into on coming traffic and his nose was bleeding and his eye was a little scratched but that was it and being scared out of his wits. Well he is over a year old now and I have to say he has won our hearts. He is the best little cat and we just love him dearly. So when I saw this paper collection I just had to make a book for my daughter and Jack. I hope you enjoy the photos.

For my card I used Unity Stamp "...today I am Thankful" stamp set. I don't know about you but I need a lot more sentiment stamps. Of course, I always buy a lot of images but hardly ever think of sentiment stamps. So this stamp set I liked cause I definitely needed Thanksgiving sentiments.

Here is my card: Quick and Simple card.
To create this card I used tan cardstock and used Echo Park paper collection
"A Perfect Autum". I created a window card, I cut a square in the middle backed it with leaf paper, added the cute little truck from the sticker sheet and added flowers, a bow and a little banner with "Happy Thanksgiving" from the stamp  "...today I am Thankful" stamp set found at https://www.unitystampco.com/

Little One Baby Card

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are doing good? It's been a little busy here lately. I am getting ready to move to a new house so been packing but its hard to pack up crafty stuff when you need you need to use it. Right?

Lately it seems like I have been running into a lot of people who need baby girl cards. So here is one I am sharing today for the challenge at International Art & Soul our theme is "Layer It Up".
So I added lots of layers on this little card using Echo Parks "Bundle of Joy Collection". I am also making a mini album as well with this same collection, but that will be shown later in a youtube video, so stay tuned. k

My base is pink card stock, layered with the green stripped paper, polka dot/heart paper using a corner punch only on the right side of the card stock.
I used stickers from the sticker sheet to embellish the card. Circle sticker placed on top of a circle punched out and little yellow flower, fussy cut the sticker butterfly, placed the sticker banner across the card and layered the words. The button paper I punched with a tag punch and placed a button and sticker "Cute as a Button" on top of the tag and then added the cute little lamb on the bottom.

Inside of the Card - Layered the inside of the card with the same papers from the front of the card.
I used a cut apart and placed little heart stickers on it.

Supply:
Paper - Echo Park - Bundle of Joy
Inks - Powder Puff inks - Soft Sage
Accessories - pink button, tag punch, corner punch, 3D foam dots.

Keep It Cool with Ice Cream

Good Morning all,

Hope you are having a great day. Today I am up over on the Crafty Card Gallery and our theme is Keeping it Cool. Yep, with temps so hot here in Texas I thought what better way to keep cool than to share some ice cream with you all.  :D   I hope you all are trying to keep cool, with some type of Yummy Treats.

Here is my YUMMY card -  For this card I used an ice cream stamp but I only stamped the cones all over my white card stock first, then I did the ice cream parts, fussy cut them out and used 3d adhesive to create a 3d look. I used some stickers from the sticker page from Echo Park - A Perfect Summer collection around the ice cream cones and used the little kit too, I thought it was cute. Well I hope you find some inspiration from this card. It was pretty easy and so fun to create using this theme - Keeping it Cool.
Supplies:
Paper - Echo Park - A Perfect Summer by Lori Whitlock; Pink and white cardstock
Stamps - Heidi Grace stamp (no name on the package); Stamp Of Life - Watermelon 2 Stamp - sentiment - "Happy Summer"
Inks - Stampin Up ink pads and markers
Accessories - Stampin Up label punch (placed the sentiment) ; Corner rounder punch

Entering the following Challenges

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you were inspired to in making a sweet treat card for summer time. Wish you all a great week.
