Hummingbird Bliss

Hi all,

Hope y'all are having a great weekend. It's been kind of busy one here. But still happy it's the weekend. :D

Over at One Stitch At A Time is a New Challenge #266 - anything goes with Elements of Nature.
I used Flutterby by StitchyStamps from the StitchyBear Digi Outlet Store. To see more images to go with our challenge theme head on over to the StitchyBear Digi Outlet Store there are lots to choose from. Plus we want to see all your project.

I colored this beautiful image with my colored pencils, spectrum noir pencils.
For the background I used TH paints and spritzed with water so they mixed together. I then added some Stampendous Frantage embossing powder. The flowers are from Prima Marketing that I had in my stash since last year. lol   once I completed the background I knew theses flowers were the ones for this project. :D

Here is a close up of the hummingbird, of course I added some stickles - Star Dust.
Here on both of the close ups you can see I added the Stampendous Frantage - Shabby Blue
Opaque to the background.

We Are All Fairies

Good Morning all

So glad to have you join me again. :D  FIRST, I would like to say a big Thank you to my new followers. Thank you for joining me on my crafting journey and I hope you find much inspiration on my past posts and future ones to come.

Today I am sharing a Tag I made for the new challenge at One Stitch At A Time - Ch. 259 Anything Goes with Distressing.
Here is the Tag I made using an image from Stitchybear Digi store LilyFairy by DigiBlessings.
For this Tag I started with my image from Stitchybear digi stamps colored with my colored pencils. I used TH manila tag and added 3 colors of distress paint - tumble grass, weathered wood and faded jeans. I used TH distress ink - mowed lawn around the words I cut out. I used Stampendous - Frantage around the tag to give some detail and gold prills from Reneabouquet. Used twill ribbon and organza ribbon from my stash.

Here is close up photo of the image. I used pop dots to raise the leaf of the
lily so it looks as if the leaf is hanging over the mouse & fairy.
I fussy cut the flowers and placed around the bottom of my tag.
I added stickles on the little lily flowers.

Julie Nutting Doll In Lace, Glitter and Bling

Good Day All,

Posting another creation I made for Crafty Card Gallery to go with our theme - female birthday.

I know it's a bit late but before I posted had to make sure that my swap partner received it as I had joined Scraps Of Darkness and Scrap Of Elegance facebook page Doll Tag Swap.
I always wondered why everyone loved using these Dolls and so I thought, "I gotta see what all the excitement is about them".  And I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed coloring and embellishing this doll. There is so much versatility in using these Doll Stamps. This one was an image that was previously given to me by a friend but I did go out and purchase one from Hobby Lobby. (heheheheeee)

So here is my doll tag and supplies -
Stamp - Julie Nutting Doll stamp (I don't know the name)
Paper - Authentique - Classique Pretty and Tags
Ink - TH Distress - black soot, spun sugar; colored with Copics
Accessories - ribbon - pink; seam binding - dyed using black soot; Lace used on Doll - from Country Craft Creations (I won as a prize); Prima Marketing - Gold flower center, Say it in Crystals;
Stickles - ice glade; Stampendous - Frantage embossing powder used Shabby pink (for the background)
**Stash - flowers

***Close Up - you can see the Frantage spread around the
tag and image.

***To get her dress to look poofy I folded up a piece of paper
like a skirt gluing that down first and then added the Lace
on top of the paper.
