Happy Halloween

Hi Ya!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful week. Today is a new challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbons our theme - Halloween!! Yep, so you get to share all your spooky ghoulish creations with us, How FUN IS THAT!! :D

So of course I used the Too Cute To Spook ribbon assortment for the Halloween Tag I created. I just couldn't help it. I used the spider web black satin ribbon with the beautiful double faced satin tangerine.   If you haven't got these awesome ribbons yet, you gotta get them. They are just beautiful and so great to use for your Halloween projects. I also used a TH Stamp and numbers along with Recollections Halloween paper and some die cuts.

Such a fun tag for Halloween. I stapled the spider web ribbon on small stamped tag.
I embossed the stamped image with black embossing poweder and used
TH inks around my image. I wanted to give it like a sunset type of look.
And with spider webs on the stamp I had to use the spider web ribbon. Right???
I fussy cut the little sentiment on the top popped it up with 3D adhesives and I fussy
cut the scary pumpkin on the bottom. The fence is a cut from my cricut. For my
background I used Anna Griffith die spider web die cut and a spider from
the collection. I added black stickles to the spider.
I love how it all came together.

Supplies:
Reasonable Ribbons - spider web black satin ribbon and double faced satin tangerine
Stamps - TH stamper Anonymous - x-ray collage  Halloween
Paper - TH paper ;Recollections Halloween paper; Ranger Manila tag; TH distress watercolor cardstock
Inks - Distress inks dried marigold, mustard seed

I chose Let's Fish stamp from Crafty Sentiments Store for my man card. It's the first time I think I've combined so many stamps in one card, plus got to use my NEW Cricut Explore. :D  This is such a cute stamp. I absolutely love it, reminds me of my hubby when we would go fishing he would be so excited if he caught one.

Here is my card -
I think it turned out cute.
I did water coloring on my image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.
Water was water-colored with Gelato's and used Copics for my
water waves and splash I drew for the fish.

I like how the his hat and clothing turned out
cause they look worn out. Something guys would wear for fishing.

Christmas In July with Crafty Sentiments

Hi All,
Oh my gosh,
I can't believe how fast time is going by. I am telling you now I think the summer heat is effecting my brain! I realized today that I forgot to post my July Give Away. I believe when school let out for summer so did my brain!! : (   So I posting the Give Away soon. But today we have another reason to Celebrate.
We are Celebrating
Crafty Sentiments
Christmas In July for 2 Days
lChristmas Release

There are some fantastic creations from the DT that will surely get you in the mood to create those Christmas Cards for family and friends. :D

I received the new image Hark the Angel and I am telling you she is a wonderful image to work with, I absolutely adore her. I wanted her to stand out so I didn't add a lot of glitter or bling. I did layer her, she has a 3D look to her head piece and wings with some glossy accents.
So here is my card -

Here's a couple of close up shots to see the layers and glossy accents

Inside of the card - fussy cut a poinsettia and have stickles in the middle.

Back of the card has the other side of the tag from the G45 Christmas collection
I couldn't cover it up, way to pretty. : )
Do you like the frame on this? I knew I wanted a frame for this card so i checked my cricut cartridges and found French Manor had this beautiful frame. Love it! it really cut out nicely and love the detailing on it. I cut two the size 5.75 and the top layer is 5.50 if you have this cartiridge it's French Manor, page 63. On the top layer of the frame I used my stylus to create a embossed look to portions of the frame. Take your stylus, and in a circular motion pressing down rub your stylus along the edges of the frame this will cause the paper to start curling or indent. Just continue where you want to emboss/indent your paper. If you need me to I will do a tutorial on this technique. I really like it and gives the paper a really nice look after your finished.
I did fussy cut a couple of the holly, poinsettias and bird as well as Hark's head piece and wings (2x). I colored the wings with Faber Castell white Pitt artist pen, first went over the wing lines with C-3 then colored it with the white pen then used glossy accents on top.

Supplies:
Stamp - Crafty Sentiments - Hark the Angel
Paper - G45 Twelve Days Of Christmas; Recollections - Deep Red; EchoPark-Reflections Christmas Kit by Lori Witlock ( this paper is behind the Hark the Angel)
Ink - TH Distress Inks and pens - fired brick, forest moss; Copics - R27, R29, RV29, E000, E00, E21, E31, E35, E37, E57, G05, YG63, Y02, Y08, Y15, Y17, Y38, YR68, C-2, C-3; Sharpie Ultra Fine Point used on shoes.
Accessories - Glossy Accents, Cricut - French Manor, Pop Dots (layered 2x)

Challenges entered:

Please join us at the Crafty Sentiments Inspirational Blog for the Christmas Preview today and tomorrow take a look at the wonderful makes from the Team mates. :D
I am so inspired I plan on getting some of the Christmas cards started, hope you were inspired as well. :D
