Fairies in a Flower Pot, A Beautiful Gift Idea - Tres Jolie

Hi Crafty Friends,

I am so excited to share today's project with you. I created these cute little fairy garden in a pot. This turned out so pretty and the cool thing is you can create two of these using one sheet of card stock paper. I have the links below to the Tres Jolie shop.

To start Score an 8 1/2 x 11 inch cardstock at 1 1/2, 3 3/4, 5 1/8, 7 3/8

Next cut the piece at 4 1/4 inches. So now you have two pieces the same size.

I then measured each panel and cut my pattern paper to leave a tiny boarder around the edges. I cut out 4 pieces for each size to cover front and back for both pieces of 4 1/4 inch strips.

Here are the measurements for the pattern paper to cover front and back.

After you cover both strips, cut out a 2 inch circle place in the middle of the 2nd panel from the bottom. Trace the circle, and cut out using the xacto.

Now place adhesive on the backside of the bottom flap. Cut out a 4 1/4 x 6 inch piece of cardstock and cover the front and back. I then cut out the pocket and large tag from the cut-apart sheet and adhere to the front of the covered cardstock and adhere to the front panel of the box.

Next adhere the bottom backside panel to the backside of the large panel. (as shown below)

Place your small terracotta pot inside the hole.

Now decorate as you would like

Here is the decorated box and flower pot. For the flowers I placed glue dots on toothpicks and adhered to the back of the flowers. For the chipboard fair I painted with fawn acrylic paint, painted the little dress with the Lindysgang flat magical evergreen emerald and reactive ink, used a yellow water color for her hair. I used fine gold glitter for her wings.
