Silver Bells with a Christmas Carol

Good Morning All,

I hope you are having a great weekend. Boy, it's sure getting busy. I've been trying to get some more decorating done. I just love making things for Christmas. I know I just posted a frame but I made another Christmas Wall Decor.

At One Stitch At A Time we have a new challenge #226 Anything Goes with Glitter. This wall decoration I used a digi stamp from StitchyBear Digital Stamps Outlet Store. You can find it here - Christmas Bell by HopeJacare.

I didn't place it in a frame I just adhered a design paper onto a chip board, then adhered my creation to that so it looks matted. I used TH idea-ology to tie my burlap ribbon around to hang it on the wall in my kitchen. I thought it turned out good. It came out to feel more of a Vintage looking with the silver and gold with sparkly stars which reminded me of how back in the day where Christmas stars really shined bright the Christmas Bells were Silver and Gold.
(that's in an old Christmas Song too). lol

After I finished it reminds me of the Christmas Song -
"Silver Bells"
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's a feeling
Of Christmas
Children laughing, people passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you'll hear
Silver bells
Silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling
Hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas Day
Strings of streetlights, even stoplights
Blink of bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures
Hear the snow crunch
See the kids bunch
This is Santa's big scene
And above all the bustle you'll hear
Silver bells
Silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas Day
Soon it will be Christmas Day

Here is my project -

*****My first photo is just with the burlap ribbon but I thought it needed some color so added                       colored ribbon in the bottom photos.

***Added some color to the Burlap Ribbon; I braided the red & green small ribbon
around it and then hot glued some holly on top. :D
